I’ve been humming this to myself every day since I heard it. I find it’s nice to hum when I’m at a nice place like the beach and reflecting on things.

The one who is cutting heads of priests is Oda Nobunaga , known for its bad actions against the sect. The one who wants to stop is Aketchi Mitsuhide. He was the one who killed him in his palace suddenly despite being his commander. Event is known as "Honni-Ji incident".

Specifically, Mitsuhide trapped Nobunaga in Honni-Ji Temple. In the middle of the night, Mitsuhide's men attacked Nobunaga's men. Seeing no way out, Nobunaga decided to commit Seppuku, the act of honorable suicide. This marks the death and end of Nobunaga's reign. After the death of Nobunaga, Mitsuhide marched straight to Kyoto, Japan's old capital. Unfortunately for Mitsuhide, one of Nobunaga's retainer, Toyotomi Hideyoshi, chased after him. In the end, Toyotomi Hideyoshi killed Mitsuhide. He eventually became the ruler of Japan, the one who had unified all of Japan. Of course, the peace lasted only after he died. Tokugawa Ieyasu soon took over and established the Tokugawa Shogunate.

Your edit is better than the track they released because of the foley and texture. Feels like a memory playing in my mind with sound.

The track alone is not enough I agree. I just had to make it because back then the track did not exist. I would've loved to see a Season of Shogun about the times before Season 1. Hopefully Season 2 has more flashbacks.

@@tykjenffs it’s going to interesting to see how they fill the void of Mariko because her character and actress had such a wonderful stage presence. I think as we progress in the series it will become even more brutal, but I’m sure they will have more female characters who aren’t just pleasing to look because of their beautify but because of their character.

There is one more track from the series where they play it multiple times and it's very catchy too. It is not there in the set list they released.All I remember, it had 3 or 4 chord progression. Please share if u have any other tracks, apart from ones Atticus released
