This guy is tough as nails. Broke his collarbone (or maybe it was a separated shoulder) in a crash in one stage and gritted his teeth so hard to ride through the pain that he wore them down.

up to 20 percent potential gain in ability; that means an ENTIRELY different rider to the one before the dosage. that's beyond massive.

You understand the stress level that these riders were put under by team management to win races

Most top shelf cyclists only have a high school diploma and have been riding hardcore, full time, since they were teens so they know how to do absolutely nothing else. If they don't win, they are ejected and have no financial future. It was odd since I think Tyler graduated from Boulder or something, he didn't start cycling until in college, so probably could have fallen back and actually do something.

good for you Tyler . i had now idea about cycling i ride my bike to work and back every day and have to hit the shower when i come home. (Switzerland) but from CA. You are a very interesting person. Be proud of yourself and don't let any assholes bring you down. You seem like a solid person. This was a very enjoyable piece from Graham. Thank you for the insight. You are very brave.

I rode with a guy who used equipoise, a horse steroid, and testosterone in replacement doses. His performance was not immediately noticeable, however when we hit the wall, he would keep going beyond his previous limits. We rode for fitness on the weekends. Nothing professional.

I starting injecting EPO directly into my bike Chain and Cogs, friken bike looks like an 80 year old dude but even the pedals are turning themselves. I got this tip from Lance Armstrong.

You do realise that this is just one short clip out of an in depth interview. Go to the Graham Bensingers web-site to watch the full interview.

I was never a pro but as a young rider i never stopped improving it was only other life responsibillities that meant i couldnt train like a pro. I often wonder what my level would have got to as a clean rider. I could imagine having only training to worry about as a pro that with dooing as well it would be insane what one could do.

I see it as a failure in professional cycling more than a failure on they cyclists part. Make tours that are so hard the only Way you can win or compete is if you are doping....

See Tom Brady! Playing as well as he is at 44 years old and looking like he is in his early 30s instead of mid 40s is very suspicious.

Steroids sound similar in the strength they provide.
