He has always been a huge fan of "the color purple" kind of genres, the women of Brewster street is another. I watched a couple reviews and the one thing I haven’t heard anyone talk about is the fact that Mea described what the crime scene looked like. She said there was so much blood it was leaking down into the neighbor’s apartment AND there were skull fragments found on the scene, and it was all DNA tested. So how was the girlfriend alive and well without a scratch by the end. You can’t fake DNA and even if the family had that much power to fake records, a lawyer who is trying to prove their client’s innocence would 100% order their own DNA tests. The forensic evidence would be available for Mea to have tested.
