Just throwing this wild card idea out there... but if you don't have huge fear of heights and they aren't prohibitable expensive, it would be cool to see you explore jumping into those big airbags or somethings similar for stunts that involve jumping off high buildings

If you're going for action scenes like this, testing out squibs would be a must down the line.

I imagine they may not have used squibs to adhere to youtube guidelines. It would have been nice to see some impacts on their uniforms from the bullets though. Airsoft, maybe?

Hell yeah, this is some really great stuff. Definitely subscribed. Also, quick trick: Get your camera a little lower. Instead of having it straight on at your performer during the action scenes, get it just a liiiiittle low and tilt it up just a tiiiiny bit. Couple degrees. Immediately makes the character feel heroically larger-than-life.
@inexpensivearms695218 күн бұрын
The grenade explosion was cool. When you engage the two baddies and then reload, you should be moving, or behind cover. There were a couple of weird cuts with the suitcase that could have been done better, but for proof of concept, this was awesome. Needs to be color graded to make it look a little less bright. That is the extent of my critique. I'm just a bozo who enjoyed watching the process. I've seen netflix scenes that looked worse.

If you’d like to make your demos better I would highly recommend taking some sort of class on technical scripts and general filmmaking, some of those camera angles look rough and not everything is all that well framed. You should invite KZbin VFX artists to add some effects in post. Bullet hits, additional carnage, Clone Corp badges on vehicles, additional lighting effects, etc. Do it with the agreement that you may use their output in a video to highlight what they and others have done. It would be a good way to grow your audience with those interested in VFX that still need to understand practical effects, and the opposite for them.
