Your welds had so many discontinueities in them that it caused them to crack on the 2 you saw and its also why whipping is a dying technique and stringers are king lol

You really need a third person. This would look so sick with a longer take that shows both characters

Howard Hill, the archer they used in "The Adventures of Robin Hood" 1938 with Errol Flynn, has a collection of interesting footage. He mastered trick shots, and pretty much never missed. He would hit wooden targets under the costumes, without wires.

In Throne of Blood, Toshiro Mifune insisted that they just have real archers shoot real arrows at him so that his acting would be enhanced by genuine fear.

This is a great video, but I hope you revisit this in the future. Changing the goalpost was a bit disappointing. In the end it did work, but not as advertised. Still though I love this channel and it was an impressive build. I jsut hope to see one that can send an adult theough the roof

I can help you design stuff. I'm a steel fabricator and engineer who is also a draftsperson and visual artist. I also have worked at nature museums doing scientific taxidermy so I've observed a lot of natural solutions to things and its tough to beat nature in design ideas. I recently had almost all my shop tools stolen and am starting over.

I think the ripples come from the repeated tremors that come from the T-rex running, but this showed that it definitely works
@TherealNiqqa2 күн бұрын
No, why would they wanna tell their preys/predators that they are nearby?
@justsomeguywithawhitebeard56392 күн бұрын
The thing is T-rex was an ambush hunter so it's feet were most likely strongly padded like a cushion and dropping weights with a metal cutout underneath it wouldn't really simulate that. Also it's not really clear if the T-Rex was even capable of sprinting it most likely walked qickly like elefants. If animals could feel T-Rex approaching it wouldn't be able to ambush them so I think all things considered you couldn't feel and definitely not hear a T-Rex approaching.
@invisiblejaguar12 күн бұрын
Don't wanna be that girl, but the real life animal would have had padding in its feet, not unlike elephants today. Would have helped stalk and sneak up on prey and the more I've learnt about the real life T. rex, the more terrifying it was than the movie version. You guys absolutely knocked it out the park with this test, I'm really impressed.

Should make a version with a huge foot pedal so you can stand with all of your weight on it to really up the pressure and still be stable for grinding!
