Best Mid tier graphics tablet yet???

Amazing long term review, this has become my dream graphic tablet once I am able to afford it. But it seems that every reviewer, including Adam Duff complained about the cables, so I hope that Huion does get to fixing their cables since it shouldn't be that hard to do.

I was skeptical about Huion for a while but they're rapidly catching up to pro-level expectations now which is great, especially now that Wacom only targets enterprise level commercial studio outfitting for pricing now. I will say though, what I'm REALLY interested in? ASUS getting into this space now with their new ProArt pen displays. They just came out with a 16" one that I'd LOVE to try -- half the price of Wacom's own 16" Pro while maintaining 4K resolution with a full range SRGB color gamut.

i picked up the 22 plus version over black friday for $360 after tax and i couldn’t be happier for the price even if it’s 1080p

I got the 22 Plus version and am happy with it, except for one point: I press very lightly and I noticed several times that my lines were interrupted. After googling a bit, the problem is probably with the PW517 pen. The IAF (initial activation force) is said to be quite high. So you have to press “relatively” hard for the pen to draw at all. Nothing you can adjust in the driver settings as it has nothing to do with pressure sensitivity. When it comes to painting it's fine, but when it comes to line drawing it's really annoying and unfortunately, that's also why I'm considering sending the tablet back. Have you had similar experiences with the 24 version?

I still own my huion Gt-190 after 5 years. It's still one of the best tablets I own that still runs smoothly! Had to order a new pen and buy a new cable at one point (along with other minor issues), but they were solvable. I was also able to get it at an affordable price too. I used to own a wacom, but that didn't last long at all and I couldn't replace the battery. If I were to buy another tablet, it would definitely be from huion. I can tolerate their cables as long as it works in the end, but I do hope they can change that one day.

My gf Huion GT-191 still run flawlessly since 2018. I also did have to get her a new cheap pen that run on rechargeable AA batteries (the old one with built in lithium battery capacity degraded severely) but beside that everything is great. Definitely getting another Huion if the opportunity arises. Such incredible value products.

I have now also ordered one and am very excited to see how it works. I've been using Wacom products for over 20 years and professionally for 15 years. Unfortunately, I have to say that Wacom's prices are simply far too high - precisely because for me it's just a tool and not a lifestyle product (I've never considered buying super expensive brushes or colours either). I think it's good that other manufacturers are now following suit and that there is a good alternative. I've been using iPad Pros for the last few years, but I have to say that the 13" was just too small for me in the long run, and I only draw at the table and not on the couch or on the go.

I own this one. I wanted a bigger display but I didn't want to spend a tons of money for Wacom with this size. I was a bit curious and a bit afraid, my coworkers didn't have a good opinion of Huion, but from what I've read they improved lately and this tablet really shows it. My latest Wacom tablet was the old 13 HD (this one from 2013 ;'D) and now from a couple of years I'm using Ipad. It takes a moment to get used to it but I find it very comfortable, I am really happy with this model! With a monitor arm it's a joy to use~ The only downside is that the cable USB-C (included in my case) stopped working so I had to arrange the 3 in 1 cables - but it's hidden behind the table, so I'd say it's neat anyway ;D

Your review was relieving to read because I have the exact same experience with currently rocking the cintiq 13HD and ipad pro set up haha. Will be looking into this tablet as a viable option now. :)

Looking to get it one day. I'm currently using the 16 inch. Even if it doesn't 100% compete with Wacom. It's fantastic. How does Wacom not realize their stupidity when even people using their products for over a decade say they won't go back to them.

I have the 22 Plus and it's on Wacom's level for sure. I actually want to get this 24" version for the 2K resolution and a little bit more drawing space.

What do you think about new iPad? We all understand that the device will change the tablet market. It's likely that Wacom will be left behind. Personally, I'm eagerly awaiting it, believing it will be the best graphic tablet.

I swapped the HUION 19 pro 4k for this. It’s so much better, bigger AND cheaper. The problem with smaller 4k screens is that icons and toolbars are TINY whereas this is perfect.

I had a Huion on 22+ it was good. It worked well but there's nothing like a Wacom Cintq pro. had to sell it and get a used 24 inch Wacom Cintq pro.

What would you say are the big differences? Because the price gap is pretty big

@@ShotgunSandwichENT the overall quality of the cintiq pro 24 is just overall better plus the software is better now is it $1500 better. no this is why I bought a used one. I search for sometime trying to find it but I found a very good used one for like 750 then it definitely is worth it over the, Huion 22+. But the Cintq is definitely not $1500 better.

@@ShotgunSandwichENT sure, the Cintiq 24 has etched glass, which makes it feel like paper especially if you use the felt tips. The Huion is just regular glass.

so i tried xpen tablet and its drivers wouldnt do hover ops so i went back to wacom. does the huion conflict less with wacom drivers? i even tried uninstal and reinstall only the xpen tab no go...their customer service was aol too. no help at all. has anyone seen these kind of probs with huion?
