I think it can be stressful for some of them but they’re only out on the floor for a portion of the day and they’re all there to find a good home (:

They always kinda do. Reptile shows are 2 day events that look like what you'd see in Petco's and larger chain stores. Small enclosures, long trips getting there, no hides, more then 1 animal in the enclosure, loud noises, etc. Sometimes the animal is so stressed that it's lethargic and doesn't do anything...then you bring it home and it acts completely different. Vise versa, the animal is supper aggressive/defensive at the show you bring it home and it's chill and calmed down...

I got really excited at the mention of pigeons because at my college class we have chicken that are in the awkward teenage phase and I got really excited because one of our little chickens looks like a pigeon. She's light grey with some Carmel brown highlights and is just so sweet. She will literally just sit in my hand and take a nap

Pigeons really are underrated. Some of them are really beautiful. That little girl was so cute. I think she was in awe of you. By the way Brian Barczyk has a ton of geckos. I seem to recall you visiting him. He has some beautiful ones. Jessica at his store is the person who is in charge of the geckos. When you are ready to buy I’m sure she will help you. I highly recommend Rainforest Junkies for Red Eye Tree Frogs. He is one of the most knowledgeable people on many species of frogs. His stuff is super healthy. He was the vendor on the right as you go in. I was there on Friday. I drive up from Cincinnati. In October, I will be there Friday and Saturday. Already looking forward to it and grieving for the things I didn't buy this time!

bromeliads die off in the winter and then you have to plant the tops of them to regrow. and the air plants can be contrary but i’m sure you’ll do amazing! you’re an awesome and beautiful person.

I have 2 birds a hamster a betta fish getting 2 guinea pigs, and 2 hermit crabs, and all my friends think I’m spoiled when honestly I just love animals, and I think if you like something and know you can provide the care that it needs, go for it.

Kind of the ones he showed in the video are actually native to where I live. You can find them here in every yard, under flower pots, in dark moist places and could literally collect them in tons if you liked to. Seeing them being sold for 1 dollar a piece is hilarious.

Ok but can I just say that I LOVE that you didn't act on that typical youtuber syndrome of doing whatever it takes to make a video interesting to their audience and did not buy any animals. I've always wanted to go. I live in Lafayette so it's a good 3 hours away and I work 6-7 days a week depending on the week. I've always heard it's amazing at the expos though. I'm sure it's worth going despite the travel time.

I just got my first ball python yesterday and have don tons of research on them. He is a normal and its so hard to give him settling in time but i dont want to stress him out so im holding back and keeping him in his enclosure:)

Also, about you not having a leopard gecko... I have 3 and love them so much. They're such silly little cuties! I was initially looking into cresties and eyelash geckos and I was told that leopard geckos are the easiest and very hearty. So many people told me to be careful because they drop their tails so easily. I don't know about that because I've had them for a year now and they all still have their tails and are quite curious, silly little explorers! You should definitely get one or two! Maybe try a rescue/adoption. I adopted all 3 of mine from Craigslist and Facebook animal groups :)
