The first one works for soups and soup like foods since the fat often rises to the top of the broth/juice. The cold makes the fat congeal and can either stick to the item or be skimmed out easily. And with that said, a large frozen spoon would do the same and be free because for some odd reason, we all own giant metal spoons of some configuration 😂😂😂

The magnet uses its cold so fat sticks to itself + soups, stews gravy ( liquids ) testing it on bacon wasn't the best choice. I would try it with a stew or gravy 😃

Yes. It's meant to get fat out of soups or stock. I have seen this done successfully with a large ice cube. But I have seen actual chefs test this device as well, and it still doesn't really work. It heats up too quickly, and ends up doing almost nothing.

no. bluetooth ear pieces were already a thing by 2012. in the 00s it was pretty common to make fun of the dudes in suits walking around with their bluetooth ear piece talking on the phone, there was even tons of people who would be wearing them while driving. which is funny because now everyone has bluetooth earphones and often uses them to talk on the phone.

yeah the shuffle was shit. i had a friend that had one in highschool. i just had a regular mp4 player, which was basically a nano knockoff. if i wanted to listen to music, i could just go down the list and pick whichever song i wanted. if she wanted to listen to a specific song, she had to keep pressing next until she found it

I love and still use my shuffle, it has a very good audio chipset. As for not being able to choose songs, that was the point wasn’t it. You can’t really call it junk when it does exactly what is supposed to do, and Apple never tried to portray it in any other way. You knew what it was when you bought it.

How the fat magnet is supposed to work is thusly . The cold metal on the bottom is to harden the fatty substance on the top of soups and stews , there is a method I was taught in culinary school by using a chilled serving spoon to solidify the grease and fats on the top of the soups or stews and easily skim them away using a chilled serving spoon . So the fat magnet is a single purpose use for that same thing pretty much.

I use a big ladle to skim the grease. I think the idea of the grease magnet was it being cold the grease would congeal on the metal. But as it gets warm as you dip it in the food, it wouldn't work anyway.

I have a nocturnal tonic chronic epilepsy and during the night is when my anxiety gets the highest and for some reason Tyler's videos are the only videos I can fall asleep to and not have my anxiety super high. The "idea" behind the fat magnet is that the "grease/fat" is hot and the "magnet" is cold...so the fat sticks to it as it hardens due to the magnet being cooler. Yes it's completely crap and useless but that was the idea.

For the fat magnet, the principle use is for pots of soups and stews where fat rises the surface….the idea is the frozen fat magnet gets dipped into the soup or stew and the icey cold helps to oils to bond to the cold metal surface and slightly gel/solidify. But for it to really be test well you likely need to get most of the metal into the liquid…and not just hover it over to the top.

I have an old Home Theatre system that I still use today. It has a DVD and VHS player built into it. I use it as my sound system for my room and it works great. I have not used DVD's or VHS in years, but I do have them when the time comes and I want to use it!

The fat magnet is for warm stews and warm or semi hot liquid food that contains too much fat and you put the base of the device in the liquids then gently swirl it around to collect the fat not hover it on top of the bacon thinking it will actually suck fat like a magnet.
