Good job. I have a LWB and a SWB recumbent and I hate the handlebar-knee interference of the LWB. SWB and Under Seat Steering bikes definitely have an erogonomic advantage.

Absolutely awesome I wanted to do the same I have old burly recumbent rear suspension.

You might want to adjust your handlebars a little bit to allow for more knee clearance. On my recumbent with a 700 rear tire I’m climbing hills at 4 mph in my granny gear. Your 15 mph uphill is pretty awesome. With regular brakes in back though at 35 mph you might be over riding your braking ability if you needed to do a panic stop.

Hi, can you tell me why it is harder climb a hill on a recumbent than a diamond frame, assuming one does not stand on the pedals on a diamond frame? Thanks. (like this comment so that I know you responded)

That's the primary reason. Can't use your body weight to stand on the pedals. You can downshift to the lowest gear but then your speed drops and it becomes a balance issue. Since you're planted in the seat you can't shift your body weight easily to counter the pedal strokes. It's also more difficult to start from a stop on an uphill.

A C- clip for speed sensor attachment 😊

I strongly suggest you get a torque arm for the long term protection of the frame if you don't have one installed. Cool bike, thanks for showing it.

I've got the one shown at 3:23. Are you saying something in addition to that?
