3 POUND SUNFISH in CRYSTAL CLEAR WATER!!!

In this video, I am fishing in Lake Havasu with Fishing legend Tim Duke!
The water is crystal clear, and we are sight fishing for SOME monster fish!
I even catch some sort of hybrid bass...please let me know what you think this fish is!

Hay Ty, I enjoyed your video I grew up in california and fished Havasu.My thoughts go back to cathing large and small mouth when fishing there. But the thing I remember most was the heat .I had a RV at the time and it always felt like I was camping on the sun. We would fish then ski till the sun stsrted to set. Fantastic huge brem ! largest Iv seen .

It's that lovely Arizona lake place again. What a lovely jumbo sunfish. I wanna go fishing and haven't this year for the Summer was too hot and we're seeing dramatic pollution and climate change conditions in Utah this year. Just last Friday, people visiting Provo River seen lots of dead fish and our trout streams so low and in big trouble. I think maybe the cold trout lakes in the high Uinta's and the rare bass lake like Mantua reservoir might still be good so I'm thinking I should try that soon since it's not too hot anymore. I remember those jumbo crappie a few months ago you caught on a boat dock early in the morning. Thanks for uploading some lovely gone fishin' videos to help fill my void out of lack of fishing holes and declining environmental conditions where I live.

Cool video and very entertaining. I never get tired of the panfish videos. I fish a spring-fed lake in Utah for trout that has this same level of clarity. You see the fish making a beeline for your fly and just hammer it. Doesn’t get much better.

Rainbow, brown and tiger trout up to 20+” and some of the best fresh water fighters in North America. Awesome scenery and lots of wild life in the Uinta basin in NE part of the state.

There is a naturally occurring hybrid of large mouth/small mouth bass that they call a 'meanmouth' in TN, KY, etc... Or it could possibly be a spotted bass with unusual markings. Beautiful place and awesome fish.

Wow.....just.....wow. In all honesty that fish looks remarkably similar to the bass we catch at a local golf course lake here in Reno, Nevada. Let me know if you ever wanna hit it up my friend. Nobody really knows how huge the fish are there. Ive caught a 7.7 pounder then in the same night an 8.2 pounder. Never ever been skunked and its a gorgeous place to fish.

@@TyPigPatrol It really is man. Its a really well kept secret too. I lived in the neighborhood surrounding the golf course when i was a kid. Sent my first bait out in 2001 when I was 11. We release every catch, always have so theres some absolute SLOBS in there. Its 2600 feet long, 940 feet wide, 50 feet deep. They only stock large mouth, small mouth, and this hybrid that looks like a mix of the two. No trash fish whatsoever. No turtles, no boats, no fish & game, no worries. If you ever do make it out to the Reno/Tahoe area like i said man youll get the locals treatment. Theres the best cutthroat fishing in the U.S. 40 minutes from my front door. Lake Tahoe less than 45. Some of the most stunningly beautiful country you'll ever see.
