it would've been much better if Tyrande had killed Nathanos and one of the Val'kyr, and the final one sacrifices herself to bring him back to 'life'...that shows that Tyrande is actually a god-empowered force to be reckoned with, AND might've actually given Nathanos a much-needed dose of humble pie (seriously...the avatar of a goddess can't kill one human dark ranger?). But can't kill the boy-toy of Sylvanas I suppose.

well, she was brutally killed while she was pleading for help and anticipating for troops to save her. I am sure she began to hate her fate in their hands to the very point that she thought that Elune and those siding her cause betrayed her. Derek Proudmoore in other hand has been dead for around 30-40 years. He was so long gone, and kept his innocence as a human being, so it would probably be hard to turn him. Perhaps only thing that made him hard to turn is because he wanted to see his family again, despite knowing how bad he looks now. I am certain there will be a moment when Jaina and Derek will see each other again.

flameknightdragon Lorewise humans are actually one of the smallest compared to the night elves, especially after Theramore, Southshore, and ESPECIALLY Lordaeron. The Night Elf population is definitely larger than the humans alongside the blood elves, trolls, tauren, and goblins. In Cataclysm, Varian, at the summit of the Night Elves, helped them intensely in the battle for Ashenvale and pushed Garrosh out (albeit temporarily) when he tried to use Northrends Magnataurs against them. Grobusk Florin one thing - Sylvanas NEVER even considered siding with Arthas, despite the fact that her defiance tortured her and was ultimately futile since he had control. Despite Light equally failing her and blood elfs failing too. You can blame BfA's systems for the negative comments since launch, but the reason I quit is the story. WotLK was so epic. Northend as enemy territory, the factions struggling to take a hold at the shore, devastating and hopeless fights on the continent and finally the last desperate assaults opening a small gap for tired heroes. Now its just full of saturday morning evildoers and some special "heroes" with anime like superpowers that can be everywhere at the same time "because portals". The world feels small and its not because of the size, but because of ridiculous transitions and faction leaders doing everything themselves. Its just so cheesy now

17:36: Arrogance! The same night elves stood against the burning legion countless times before. The night elves who even Archimonde fears. Tichondrious in Warcraft 3: "See Lord Archimonde? We need not fear the night elves." I can remember those days still so vividly when even the legion took all the preparations before facing the night elves (from first corrupting the forests, to taking the orcs and killing Cenarius) and still lost even when the night elves were aided only by a very small group of human survivors and a splintered Orc. The night elves are not pushovers. By Elune's Grace! I'm glad I remained in Warcraft 3. While I still like the way blizzard tells their stories, it requires more and more suspension of disbelief with every release. I just come back for the cutscenes and the nostalgia.

Thanks for posting this! It was a good set of scenes to stitch together, and generally does a great job cutting out the uninteresting bits (and even emphasizing the details, like when you zoomed into the Dark Elf commander; I mean it was blurry, but it was a good call-out). One minor criticism is the ~32 sec intro felt too long. Feels like it'd have flowed better with a quick ~2 sec text slide ("Tyrande War Room Scene") before each scene, or at most a 1-2 sentence voice-over (ie during the scene of your character running into Stormwind you could explain, "These first scenes happen in the Stormwind War Room between Anduin and Tyrande." and _maybe_ mention the patch and quest state)

Elune is very likely the Goddess of Death, the shadowlands seems to be a very active place this expansion. Between Bwonsamdi and Sylvanas making huge powerplays (also the Lich King, but this isn't new), the revelation that Odin's Valkyr are the ones who have been rezzing us everytime we clock out, and the fact that Vol'jin was killed, and then ascended to loa status, by TWO DIFFERENT powerful beings that are not Bwonsamdi, Sylvanas, or Eyir, dark times are coming indeed.

My opinion is horde is mostly tribal society kept together by common enemy besides other things. Belvs, Forsaken and gobs are not tribes but they can be viewed as clan like factions. As the boy king, in medieval ages, there were examples of young kings being manipulated and "ordered" around by their subordinate nobleman, so that's nothing unbelievable.

While BoA was awful and apparently Shadowlands was too, I really liked them showing that Malfurian is a very bad man when he wants to be. Both he and Tyrande had been plot devices for a long time, to get kicked around when they needed to show something is a threat. Malfurian is a hitter and not many people would want to see him in a straight fight.

For all the alliances speeches, their self-righteous attitude and the idiotic idea that they are the saviors of azeroth. It was your races which drew the burning legion, your political hierarchies infiltrated by the black dragonflight, your church's leaders which turned out to be the head of the twilight cults, your night elf edgelord which enslaved the world of outland and your prince who became the lich king. The Horde on the other hand, dealt with and took ownership of their own corruption, our trolls which fought the old gods for 1000+ years at the height of the old god's powers and resisted their corruption and it was our leader and the only character in the history of warcraft to wield an old gods powers without succumbing to its corruption (Garrosh) and it was us who took down C'thun where your Night Elves decided just to close the doors and pretend he didn't exist. Face it, the alliance are the biggest liabilities on the planet. Just wait until Sylvanas raises Garrosh or better yet an old god.

Am I the only one actually worrying about this? Honnestly I play horde but I've also played alliance before, seeing Tyrande saying those words 'Your darkest face' and then watching pyromancer's video about Elune having a huge problem, I think some shit is about to happen. And it is the same with Alleria, everyone has recently been pointing their fingers at Sylvanas, but guys, eventhough lots of her recent actions were questionable or even pure evil (and I admit as a Horde player), shit is about to hit the Alliance hard, whether this is Alleria or Tyrande, we all know the alliance can't always be written as being the nice guys and all while the horde is always messing things up, and we all know something is going to happen. Because so far, shit has only hit the horde, it's about to hit the alliance as well. One or the other, Alleria or Tyrande are both or only one of them going to loose control of the powers they acquired. What do you guys think? (ps: go see pyromancer's video about Elune first so you can understand my concern).
