He has no offensive bag. For a guy that is a playmaking point guard, he has very limited ball handling skills. He can't really go left, can't consistently get into the paint, and not a good finisher at the rim. He just isn't a threat to score outside of shooting 3s.

Look at what happened to James Harden. If you want to understand this. Harden severely hurt his hamstring and tried to play through it. But ever since that hamstring harden just hasn't been the same. It always go back to the same problem that the whole NBA is having now with the low viewership - these good players are falling into the trap and are being way too reliant on 3s as the majority part of their game and they will live and die with it. Every above average player in the league thinks they're Steph Curry now without the Curry shooting ability. Hell even Steph knows when to drive and beat his man to the basket or effectively move without the ball or dish it out when needed.

So you showing and breaking down the film...you're just showing the numbers. Lol. Show why he's struggling. Don't just talk about it. Not just through the numbers but also the play itself. He doesn't play fundamental basketball. He has to dominate the basketball to impact the game. Teams defend him differently because they know his strengths, he hasn't adapted well. The reason for his lack of adaptability is his lack of game. When you really look at his game, outside of handling the ball...what does he do well off the ball? Is he shooting mid range jumpers? Is he crashing the boards? Is he applying pressure defensively? All of these are part of basketball IQ. Most of these teams don't run true schemes. Everything is pick-n-roll, pick-n-pop, and drive & dish. There are no game plans...no strategies to actually beating a team.

His biggest issue is his lack of a diverse scoring skill set. He often relies on step back 3s or driving into a mid floater. He can't attack the basket consistently and has no mid range game. This year, defenses just really have to key in on making him uncomfortable behind the arc and his mid floaters. He is a creative passer but mostly thrives on the fast break. On half court offense, the defense plays him straight up and does not allow him to make plays to his teammates. Against the Rockets, Houston basically shut him down by having FVV pressure him on the ball or having either Amen or Tari just making his life miserable every time he brings the ball up.

He has to be playing hurt there’s no way that he isn’t. 3.They have to shelf Haliburton, personally I think they shelf him as soon as Nembhard comes back. 4.If this team extends Myles Turner (who is so ass btw and get outrebounded by every big in basketball and can’t play defense) to any number north of 15 million, I will fly to Indianapolis personally to protest outside the stadium. 5.The defense has taken a hit due to Nesmith/Nembhard being out. 6.Tucker, I beg of you, as a pacers fan, please start back up the Myles to LA rumors again (or maybe New Orleans). 7.Pascal has been great. He’s not the issue. 8.The main thing that scares me with the back injury is the fact that it’s very similar to what Ben Simmons and IT had been going through and it killed their careers. 9.at this point, if you told me that the plan was to punt on the year and get healthy I’d be fine with that as long as the Celtics beat the Knicks in five. 10.If it is clear that the back injury is long term and he continues to be this player it’s the worst contract in basketball hands down and you have to offload it, even if this means throwing someone Mathurin.

He has a confidence problem. For sure the back problem is there, bc you can tell he's more stiff on his movements, but such an abysmal difference between home and away cannot be just the back. I think last year his shot just started clicking. He found rhythm and confidence and that propelled his game. He's not a guy that can easily create his own shot, so when defenses had to adjust to his 3pt he found the space he needed to be a threat. Enter that hamstring injury, the rhythm is gone and the confidence as well. Without that accuracy we have a guy with a quick release, but that's all his shooting has. He has no arc, no elevation. The energy transfer from his legs to his arms is non-existent. That's why he bricks so much. You can also tell he's hurt on his back bc he hunchs when he shoots, which just makes the whole thing worse. He definitely needs some time without playing. Even if his confidence takes a hit. But if his back doesn't heal properly his confidence will get even worse when defenses can just lock him up.

I just hate that ppl really tried to tell me this fraud was better than Trae or lamelo. Especially trae, cause Halliburton hasn’t avg 20 for more than 2 szns trae has avg 24 his whole career and 9 assists. All while being tiny. Lamelo was always better than him but was just always hurt so I could give them that, but now they both healthy ones, avg 30 &7 the other 15 & 8 😭 literally getting doubled up on points and has only 1 assist more to show for it. Guys being exposed as a fraud
