i used to be a DJ and music is my life and still is, i've listened to a lot of music, artists and Genres ( discos, reggae, soul, R&B, etc) so am not easily impressed by artistry, " D' Train" came out when another Genre of music played in the warehouse. that later became " House Music" was evolving pioneered by Colonel Abrams, Tim Regisford, JM Silk etc . My thought then was here's another dance music to be listened to and forget but i got hooked to " keep on , walk on by. then came " oh how i love you" child of love" that's where he proved he's not a fly by night artist, like he said in this interview the "new kids on the blocks " should learn from the past, because " SOUL IS DYING" and it's sad thanks T. Lowe for letting the world know about this Legend

My cousin dj kool introduced this man music to me years ago while he was a dj @ the old paragon too NITE club in d.c.back in the early eighties,I been hooked on this song since ,one helluva classic!! D Train!!!!

Everyone really had to see Larry's face when he came down to the loft with test pressings the work on Dtrain record he look like a happy little baby. You see for me it one of the greatest gift to see and experience many and many things working and going to the loft from 1975 till present so many stories

Well, well Mr James "Dtrain" Williams my grandmother had the whole " You're the One For Me" album, she would play the whole thang at birthday parties in the 80s the song Keep on was You're the one for me following sequel Prelude did a great job with his hit Something's on your mind in 1983 but by the time he got to Columbia he kinda fell off.
