Most people are unaware of the boxing rule that if an opponent leaves the neutral corner during a count, the count stops and the ref instructs the fighter to get back to the neutral corner. Then the ref can pick up the count where he left off. I was shocked when the announcers were wondering why there was a long count because Lennox and Ward are boxers and they know that rule....seems most fans don't. WBA has a very detailed rule regarding the ten count which is: When a boxer is knocked down, the referee shall order the opponent to retire to the farthest neutral corner of the ring in relation to the down boxer, pointing at such corner, and he shall immediately count the seconds in a loud voice, with a movement of his arm, taking the count from the timekeeper. If the boxer refuses to go to the farthest corner determined by the referee, or does not stay there, the referee shall stop the count to the down boxer until his opponent retires to the indicated corner, and then the referee shall continue with the count starting from the point from which it was interrupted.

Sounds Like a Prolonged fake Resting Count. To cheat giving them extra time to rest. The Rules should be Ko, Give Up or submit. This judge nonsense is creating paper champions destroying the sport. It was suppose to be who is Better, not who can dance around longer getting Patty Cake Slap Votes. this is a Mockery of the real Athlete level gladiators.

@@______-im2cn Never called it a war. Just called them warriors. Clearly, it would help if you had a complete definition. A warrior can also be defined as someone brave and experienced in fighting or shows great vigor, courage, or aggressiveness. Synonyms of warrior include soldier, combatant, fighter, and gladiator. Sorry, you were triggered so badly by my comment. Yes, some words do have exact meanings. This however is not one of those words. While we are talking about words you could use some help with yours.

Much respect to both of these guys. Wilder's determination to stay alive and counter was the best part of this fight to me. I would watch this again if for some reason they wanted a Pt. 4. At the end, you can see that Fury really beat the shit out of him because his whole mouth was red like lipstick and his eardrum may have been shattered because he had blood coming out of his left ear.

Yup! Wilder's camp was definitely 'Lazy' in getting him 'endurance ready'. I would 'Fire' all of of them, because they relied on his right hand and his physique to 'do all the work', and that failed them THREE TIMES IN A ROW! Wilder's entire strategy appeared to be all about that 'Right hand'. No eluding, no footwork, head movement, no protecting of his head and body. Just telegraphing HIS JAB TO THE BODY, and LOADING UP ON THE STRAIGHT RIGHT and RIGHT HOOK! Fury could see it coming from a mile away. Bro! Fire EVERYONE! They are just getting paid as part of your camp. Seriously.

@@chrisgreen177 I agree. Boxing is scored on the punches, but in reality boxing is 80% (maybe I’m too generous with that number) legs and lower body. Wilder has THE right hand from God, but goddamn it’s frustrating to see him to the rest of boxing

Wilder just seems exhausted by the end of the first round. He actually looked good for the first half of the first but he is just gets winded too quickly and it takes a while for him to get his second wind. When he does he seems to still look highly unstable and winded but able to throw short fast bursts. Fury looked like the Champion he is. He is always thinking and setting up, letting Wilder get tired and then taking advantage. Wilder is just throwing hay makers hoping to get that lucky knock out. Good fight by both men, Fury just proving once again he is the better man in this matchup of heavy weight champions.

What the heck is wilder wearing? This was Wilders best fight against Fury he's got more arsenal in his tool bag, he needs to work on developing a good left hook. That would enable him become a more effective boxer. Wilder seemed to be doing alright until the six and seven round came along then he began to exserted way too much energy, he was starting to show fatigue in the seventh round by the end of the eight he looked exhausted. How wilder came back a couple times showed his determination to win, but Fury proved beyond a Doubt that he's the Champ of this Trilogy after all. Good fight best one out of them all. Cheers to both Champs. Deontay Wilder has the heart of a lion. no one can take that from him that's for damn sure. No shame in what they both did in this match. The knockdown at 14:07 was no standing 8 count. Run your own stop watch. That was 15 seconds. When are they going to standardize the counts in boxing????

Thats what happens when a guy relies on a power right hand as the only real weapon and it works for a long time.. no matter how you train.. they will go right to that to finish fight. He had no real amature background where you learn to get point by contact.

It's funny how it says "FREE FIGHT" like the channel is doing you a favour. Real fans watch fights for free anyway.
