Hey Matt you should do one of these on the UFC 309 fight tomorrow. I think both Jones and Stipe trained S&C with West Side style training, and Stipe looks pretty huge in the clips they are showing of him. Would be fun to hear your take.

I saw an interview in the 80's when Tyson was still coming up. He had won enough to have money and was close to getting a shot at the championship, but he openly talked about stalking people in NYC and assaulting them for fun. If he goes back to that place in his mind with his true knowledge of boxing technique its gonna be a bad night for Jake Paul. He may have come to grips with his psychopathic side, but he could unleash it for a night. Attitude and experience all the way.
@James-yq5yx7 күн бұрын
Tyson can slip and weave at the same pace most boxers parry. Paul relies of his overhand right alot, which he telegraphs and slows down on as his fights progress. If Paul leaves his punches hanging out, which he will, Tyson will have no problem closing distance amd nullifying his range, ripping him on the inside. Tyson is 58, but he is a) a user of TRT, b) Mike Tyson. Should be a very short night for Paul.
@cryaloucandfearnot7 күн бұрын
I going with Tyson. His diminished skills and abilities is still superior to Jake's skills and abilities. Jake can't give Tyson anything he hasn't seen before, but Tyson can give Jake stuff haven't seen before.

I’m hoping Tyson beats on Paul like he has never experienced and then hits Paul so hard that it puts him out for 5 minutes…..without permanently hurting Jake long term of course. I’m sick of the Paul brothers and all their crap.

Jake Paul has not ever been hit by someone with intent. A fighter who not only knows how to deliver serious power, but also with blinding speed, with foot work that is very difficult to track. My Step-Dad who was Tommy Hearns sparring partner once told me, Mike is a complete wrecking machine, because of the above attributes. Mike will get him, and as soon as he connects with one of those hooks, its over. He has trained for this fight to destroy, just like when he was young.

@@ddwfw Pop's could throw with him, but it was Hearn's, slipping that lightning jab for the set up that was truly amazing. Hearns could throw, and trap people so well, with astounding power. I would argue that Hearns could throw with the same power as Moore, who also was in Kronk's sometime. The days of the Gladiators. Tyson is going to really do some damage, Paul is not prepared for the pure Trap Door fighting style of Iron Mike.... not with the power he commands in his delivery.
@ddwfw6 күн бұрын
@@WarhorseConjugate-q3z I just hope he still has it, obviously he's enhanced but I hope he has that endurance he needs...his style is exhausting. Best case scenario he comes out slipping and sets up a monster overhand in the opening sequence. Father time is undefeated...

Jake is much younger and is in his youthful peak. Besides, he was really dedicated for many years now so both the time aspect and the physical aspect are on Jakes side. Tyson will gas out in a few rounds and then Jake will take over.
@archmaesterofpullups7 күн бұрын
Tyson seems like the kind of guy to maintain his killer mentality all his life. He may be older but he is training with the ferocity that he had in his prime. Paul put on a ton of weight super quickly to bring himself in line with Tyson's weight but most of it was fat. He hasn't had enough time to grow into that weight and his endurance and speed will likely suffer while not gaining the strength benefits of being larger. I think a better way to view it is asking myself whom I'd rather face in the ring, Tyson or Paul? The clear answer is that I would be scared shitless to be in the ring with Tyson but would feel way more comfortable facing Paul.

If what I heard about there being a line in the contract saying Mike can't hurt Jake is true, it's going to be lame. If it's false, well, Mike DID say on Rogan that hurting people made him... let's say improved blood flow in certain areas... he might be twice his age, but he's still an absolute ANIMAL (in the best way possible)

Ain't no way bro. The script got leaked! @0 #PaulVsTyson Jake Paul gonna knock out Mike Tyson! Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson Friday, November 15, 2024 - AT&T Stadium, Arlington, TX Round 1 • The opening bell rings and Tyson, showing flashes of his old form, immediately stalks forward with his signature bob-and-weave style. Paul maintains distance, circling the ring cautiously. Tyson lands a few jabs but Paul's youth shows in his superior mobility. Paul connects with a quick one-two combination before retreating. Tyson's timing appears slightly off, his punches a fraction slower than in his prime. Round 2 Tyson comes alive, cutting off the ring more effectively. He lands a thunderous left hook to Paul's body that draws a collective gasp from the crowd. Paul weathers the storm, using his reach advantage to pepper Tyson with long jabs. The younger fighter's stamina becomes evident as he bounces on his toes, while Tyson's breathing grows heavier. Round 3 • Paul gains confidence, starting to plant his feet more. He lands a sharp cross that momentarily stuns Tyson. The former champion responds with a vintage combination, but Paul slips most of it. The speed difference becomes more apparent as Paul begins finding his range with his jab. Tyson's legendary head movement starts to slow. Round 4 Fatigue sets in for Tyson, though his punches still carry devastating power. Paul establishes his rhythm, landing increasingly clean shots. A particularly sharp right hand opens a cut above Tyson's left eye. The old champion bulls forward, trying to close distance, but Paul's footwork keeps him just out of range. The tide is turning. Round 5 • The decisive round. Paul, sensing Tyson's fatigue, begins to press forward more aggressively. He lands a crisp three-punch combination that backs Tyson to the ropes. As Tyson tries to weave away, Paul times him perfectly with a devastating right hand that catches him flush on the chin. Tyson's legs buckle and he drops to the canvas. The referee begins the count, but Tyson, despite his warrior's heart, cannot beat the ten count. Winner: Jake Paul by KO, Round 5

Tyson's excuse for losing to douglas was that he was in his hotel room in tokyo ****ing japanese girls like eating candy. The trouble with Jake Paul is that he's actually quite good but everyone hates him. In pro wrestling or a movie the good guy would beat him in the end, but Jake Paul hasn't read the script (though he did lose his last fight). People can say its fake but I don't believe anyone with pride is going to lay down for Jake Paul, he can't be giving out that much cash. Though I do think that in the Logan Paul mayweather fight, while not being fake they seemed to have some kind of agreement to got he distance so these youtube fights are someone sus, Jake losing the previous fight does kind of add some credibility in my eyes. Side note, Almost everyone Tyson fought had better reach.
