If I may ask, what kind of paint or mixture is that? I find it kind of odd you would have to connect something to the item being painted.
@HappilyHomicidalHooligan
@HappilyHomicidalHooligan 3 жыл бұрын
@@rommtech4604 It's a dry powder that is given a positive charge and the part is given a negative charge (through the wire clipped to it), the opposite charges cause the powder to stick to the part in a smooth even coat which is then baked on in the oven. It's called Powder Coating if you want to look it up online. The resulting finish is much more scratch and abrasion resistant than liquid paint is and it's used on a huge number of products found in most hardware/automotive stores...

I liked that you didn't cut out the part where the chain got yanked while you were cleaning/polishing it, most people would remove that part. This way you are showing how easily things can go wrong so anyone watching this will learn from your experience. Respect.

Brilliant as ever. Regarding the chain slipping: What you can do is screw the ends of the chain fairly taught against a metal coffee can, and that will keep it from slipping while you’re polishing. It’s an old jewellery chain polishing tip from my apprenticeship. Works really well.

Bear is a strong beast. To fix the plate, it is better to use classic rivets. The bending of the arcs was increased during disassembly. During assembly, they are not sufficiently bent and therefore not deeply fixed in the holes; the fastening is weak. Congratulations to TysyTube for starting using powder paint. And the use of nickel plating. :-)
