What do you think of this super easy technique? ✨ It doesn’t have to be an all over repeat you can use it as vertical or horizontal stripes ( combined with plain stockinette or other stitches such as tucks), yoke detail or as blocks. ♥️

Leaving the ladder rows in between the stitches you twist is pretty ingenious.

Hi after creating this sample on this flatbed machine manually can you send this to the factory for mass production? Is there only a chart required of the design to get it mass produced. I say so because can the machine automatically twist the yarn in mass production like you are doing it here manually? Thank you very much. Will be joining your Patron soon.

hi! that is great question; I am not entirely sure how would this be mass-produced. From my experience working in the industry I believe that even sending the factory a swatch with a specific stitch should be enough for them to develop it. A chart is also very useful and I think that even a hand-drawn chart to explain a stitch can be used by the factory but I imagine it all depends on teh factory. Let me know how it goes 😊

What type of yarn did you use? Can you please give the link to buy?
@Knitology1x1

For this sample I plied up a few ends of fine yarn: cotton, recycled polyester and lambswool. I only know where the lambswool is from - dead stock from Todd and Duncan, you must email and enquiry if you would like to purchase, they don’t have it on their website. At least that’s how I got it a couple if years ago, I am not sure how they do it at the moment. It is 1/14 lambswool, but they also sell 2/14 which I recommend instead. The other yarns, I purchased from a student on Instagram and am not sure where is it from. Hope this is helpful 🤗

@@Knitology1x1 it is. Thanks a lot. I appreciate you taking your time to explain in detail. I am restricted to only 2 major types of yarn in my country, so unless I order, I do not get varieties.
