Total respect for U2. 30 anniversary tour for Joshua Tree album. One of the BEST albums never to be forgotten !!! One of the BEST concerts too. Seen in 87 on my twentieth birthday !!! Singing 40 walking out to my vehicle !!! The Jimerator

You’re so lucky 🍀. I have never been able to see them. They’re my favorite band.

Saw them in’87 & ‘17 and 18 other times between them! Love them more every time ❤

If you know this already, ignore. This tour was the very first time they performed this song live. EVER

Is that because it’s hard to hit the register of the recording? What was the reason they never performed it live? Such a great song

This is the best version on youtube. I was at the Miami show and the sound quality was terrible, but I loved the piano so much I was hoping someone had recorded a decent video. Thank you very much!

Glad you liked it and even if you watching a different show, this can help you immortalize your experience forever!

I was at the Miami show and San Jose before that. The new version of the song blew me away in San Jose, but it was absolute magic in Miami, and I remember watching Bono at the end and thinking he knew it too.

The best track from TJT imho. It has a tinge of jazz rock to it.

Ok, silly question -- who is doing the counting you hear quite often during the song?
@jovigolf7 жыл бұрын
Not silly. The audio was taken from an inner ear monitor feed, so this is from the crew to cue them so the song will synch with the video.

Well that makes perfect sense...

That is what they hear in their ear pieces, I think...the cues for songs.....
