Me arrepiou pois foi ouvindo as músicas de How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb que me fazia sentir a presença do Espírito Santo, em 2005 isso, mesmo eu sendo ateu eu não entendia o impacto que essas músicas (principalmente desse CD) estavam fazendo em minha vida. Eu tomava medicações, e não saia de terapias, eu estava com depressão sem vontade de levantar da cama e com muitos ataques de pânico. Bem, devo dizer que eu aceitei a Jesus Cristo em abril de 2006 e em menos de 3 meses eu já estava curado da depressão e da Síndrome do Pânico. Impressionante, oro desde já para que esteja bem sempre. Amém!

why the fk do i love this band so much? For so long? Despite the great music, the escape, the grand spectacle of the live shows....i guess it just boils down to the absolute raw passion in the lyrics and Bono's voice. Also doesn't hurt that the 4 of them are an absolute unbreakable & unstoppable force who's work has landscaped this world like nothing else. Excatly. Vertigo and City of Blinding Lights are absolute gems and one of the greatest songs they have ever written. Also All Because Of You and Crumbs from your table are great hard-rock tracks and Sometimes You cant make it on your own and this are awesom ballads. I really think its one of their most underrated albums (along Pop and NLOTH which for many people were too experimental) and i absolutely love more hard rock sound of it compared to other stuff by U2. I would love SOE to have similar sound to HTDAAB but as far as i can see it will be more similar to ATYCLB

Totally agree I loved city of blinding lights. When I was little I wanted to listen to it all the time. I’m pretty sure I destroyed the cd because of much it was played. I love the album in general but that one song is still my favorite. It was my childhood I was only four when the album was released. I’m so glad that my parents let me listen to U2 at such a young age.
