The vest did good for what it's rated for. Be cool if there was ballistics gel in the vest so if there is a pass through, we can see what kind of wound track it would make. None the less, good vid WTW!

The versatility of the 10 from duty carry, home and self defense, to a decent hunting caliber, makes it a great round. I was shocked by a hunter taking an elk with a 10 mm pistol. He shot it from one pond bank to the other. The video is on YT. KSP carried it for a while (the armorer showed me how it battered the S&W frame)with that experience and the elk video I realized just how formidable it is.

Don't come with that "even bears were killed with a .22lr." If one wants to hunt with every gun they have, why not go from rabbits, to boar to deer up to elk and bear and switch through the calibers they own?

Great video. As always. Got get do some shooting myself at local range at game land . Place was pack for sat afternoon to evening. Started 330pm did leave till 7pm. Shot 100rds of fmj white box 40s&w. And 6 165gr hp. And 3 mags of cheap sig fmj and ppu hp 380acp ammo i had laying around. And dumped 40 rds of 300blk 125gr ppu hp . And 10 rds of 110vmax i had left in a box from last range trip.

Wow,.... Level 3A soft isn't usually rated to take more the 3-4 hits in different areas also,.... impressive. I have a nice level 3A soft armor rig and also a level 3+ plate rig which I can attest is a lot heavier to wear then the soft armor but not bad if your in shape and I feel a lot safer in that.

You should examine each shot individually to be honest you would see what's what that would be way more satisfying to a gun nut/non gun nut who else agrees we love seeing a mag unloaded but seeing what bullets did what damage from a single shot would be nice that is good armor tho!

I would like to see you turn that same vest around, since the back side was mostly undamaged, and test it against a .44 Magnum at muzzle contact range. Also, you could try the side plates at very close range. That Xtreme Penetrator ammunition might defeat it at close range. Thanks, Who Tee Whooo!

Depending on bullet and particular load... Level 4 hard plates will stop a .300 Win Mag. You'll likely suffer some severe blunt force trauma though.
