This is the recipe for the ube cheese pandesal baked in toaster oven. This recipe is a small batch, perfect for a small family with a toaster oven. I have also included a bonus footage so please watch till the end.
Ube Cheese Pandesal Recipe:
1 cup flour
100 mL milk
3/4 tsp yeast + 1 1/2 tsp sugar
3/4 tsp salt (please see note son video about salt)
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp canola oil
1/4 cup ube halaya
1 tsp ube flavour/color
This is our daily bread. Our spiritual daily bread is:

hi again 🙂 I'm really enjoying all your baking videos and while watching... suddenly I noticed you didn't put cheese inside and when you realized you literally forgot the cheese... my reaction was "oh no 😮🤭" so I can't stop laughing 😆😆😆 but it's ok it happens all the time maybe because you're too tired and when ube cheese pandesal are done... honestly that's what I call perfection so good job 🙂😉 and I will always give you two 👍👍 and five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for always sharing simple recipes ❤️ ok then stay safe 24/7 God bless 😇

Hi.. question po.. if instant yeast po gamit ko same lang po ba ng measurement?

Magandang araw po! Disclaimer lang po ha, I am not a pro chef, and I share what I have learned here in my kitchen. Same amount of yeast lang ang ginagamit ko if I will be substituting instant and active yeast and when I do that, wala naman akong makitang difference. Pero sa mga nabasa ko sa comments ng pro chefs, hindi daw sila equal dapat. Hindi ko na po inalam ang exact science about that, and eversince I learned baking, eto na po lagi ang process ko, and it works for my family. I would suggest na use the same amount of instant yeast muna for this recipe. It will be fine. God bless!

Magandang araw po! Hindi ko pa po na try un, usually ginagamit ko ang shortening for crusts but hindi pa sa pandesal. God bless!

Hi po, from Canada din po, since wala po Eden cheese d2 s atin, what brand po of cheese ang gamit nyo? dami po kasi kinds of cheddar d2 and minsan d po msrap ung taste.. thank u po..

Magandang araw po! I used fresh milk dito, pero you can also use evap milk. Kung 100mL milk ang kelangan, 50mL evap and 50 mL water. God bless!

Gumagawa ako ng pan de sal pero Hindi ko makuha talaga, ayaw umalsa. Sira ako sa pag gamit ng yeast. :( Watching fr England UK.

Magandang araw po! I am so sorry to hear that. If active dry yeast ang gamit nyo, I would suggest to make sure that the milk is not too hot. Kung kailangan nyo gumamit ng thermometer to measure the temp of the milk do it po. Ang ideal temp ng liquid for the yeast is 38C-40C, anything above that baka mamatay na nag yeast nyo. If instant naman, just be patient habang pinapa alsa nyo ang dough. Make sure din na nasa warm place nyo sya ipapa alsa. Sometimes it takes 2-3 hours bago umalsa ang dough ko, depende talaga sa temperature. I hope this helps, and I hope maging ok ang next batch nyo. God bless!

Thanks for your reply. Hit or miss, kung baga, usually miss. Lol. I am using fast acting yeast which is directly mixed with the flour. I use country grain bread flour to make it healthier. Masarap p din pero hindi maganda hitsura kasi maliit. Try and try n lang. more practice. My Scottish husband still loves them though.

Magandang araw po! HIndi ko pa na try na i add ang ube powder. Siguro po mas maganda kung gagawin muna na ube ang ube powder (not sure if that is even possible), but that's the idea. Hope this helps and God bless!

Magandang araw po! Masarap nga ang Krispy Kreme donuts kaso wala sa area namin, kaya baka gumawa din ako neto. Kaya lang naman ako natuto mag bake kasi either walang mabilhan or sobrang mahal, kaya nag aral na lang ako :) God bless and Psalms 115:1 :)

Hi new fan here😁. ask ko sna anong heating po b mg bake, top heat? bottom? with fan? Mine is convection oven , di ko alm right setting to choose🤣Thank you !

Magandang araw po! It really depends on your oven, sa big oven namin, kapag naka bake setting, ilalim lang na heating element ang gumagana. Sa small oven naman, kala ko ganun din, bt when we checked again, we found out na kahit nasa bake setting sya, gumagana din ang itaas na heating element. The best po siguro is to set the function of your oven to bake and let it do its thing. About the convection naman, no clue pa po ako dyan, although may convectiion function ang maliit na oven namin hehe. God bless!

Hi!sir rich!thanks for sharing!i doubled your recipe and it stayed 3-4days in a tight container still its soft pa din.not like other recipe matigas na ang tinapay after2days.God bless and looking forward for more recipe.my family loved the taisan cake.
