Major problem with this in California, 1. Vehicle must be registered commercial to get commercial insurance 2. To get commercial registration the car must be paid off or have a commercial loan from a bank who allows commercial registration 3. To get a commercial loan you need to put down minimum 20% of the price of the vehicle & higher interest rate loan. 4. Vehicle must be registered in a company name like a LLC or Corporation. In conclusion if you do all these steps it’s better for you to do Uber Black. There’s no point of getting commercial insurance for Uber X or similar rides. This test pilot is a waste of time for Major markets like California & New York. Happy Holidays.

I would gladly get commercial rideshare insurance and pay that premium if it meant I could keep the insurance fees normally charged by Uber. I seriously doubt, however, that all of that part of the fare is actually insurance...I have no doubt that Uber is skimming from it.

1:18:06 I stopped delivering food for a few reasons. One payment doesn’t worth it. Two people who lives at apartment buildings don’t add their addresses as apartment and Leslie, but not less important. People say that they are handicapped and they cannot meet at the door of the building, but once you go upstairs and ring the bell they come walking to receive their order. Food delivering is such a waste of time and no money at all.

Regarding Overlay Permission: AI bot won't work, BUT after speaking to 3 live chat agents that lied about the Permission not able to be removed, and that I had reached the "highest level of support" including the last one, I was able to get the blocker removed. I did have to log out of my account, force stop the app and reset my phone, but after that it was successful. Thank God.

I hardly ever get ride offers from Uber in my area. Since July this year, Lyft has been offering much cheaper fares than Uber has so we have too many Uber drivers going after not enough fares. The market is saturated and Hertz can't get people to keep renting vehicles to drive for Uber. I'm in Springfield Missouri and in my area it would appear that there aren't enough Uber trips to be profitable at all unless you have 12 hours a day to sit and wait to be next in line to get a fare.

1:07:21 and what about New York State where if you are not a TLC driver even having a company or LLC you cannot buy a commercial auto insurance by any insurance company. New York State have a limitation on who can have commercial auto insurance. I’m intrigued how this can be so convenient to Uber and Lyft by Nala other companies, such as live companies to have commercial auto insurance. Connecting the dots. It makes me understand why I see so many vans buses, and other type of cars with a New Jersey or Connecticut license plate doing charter business at the airport.

You should know that with Uber and Lyft, nothing is constant. They could start and stop this commercial insurance program at any point if it hurts their earnings.

When Dara was hired I was able to make 160.00 quest from Friday 4am to Monday 4am. Then it went to 1.00 extra per trip, so 20 rides 20.00, 60 rides 60.00. Right before he had me thrown in jail it was called Advantage plan. The Advantage plan you earned ,05 cents on the dollar. That's how bad it's got since he came. They want you breaking your butt and bring excited for your 5 cents extra for every dollar of the fare. Greed and fake stock numbers have been what we experienced since Dara arrived....

It's not good to have all your eggs in one basket. Uber has us on fares, then gets more with your pro card, renting a vehicle, now insurance? They get more of the fare in more ways

If Commercial Insurance really is that expensive for Uber/Lyft (and I still don't buy that story), they can solve everything in one simple step: Only drivers over 25 years old are allowed to drive. Period. Just like that, rates should drop in half overnight - and they can pay their drivers again.

Yep in my area they get ping more than gasoline or hibrid and we did test numerous number of times and results are same so they can cherry pick more and trips that they refuse go to gasoline or hibrid that's uber Way to push there electric agenda
