Pro tip: if you put andesite with iron or zinc nuggets in a basin that has a mixer on top of it (it doesn’t have to be heated by anything) you will make twice as much andesite alloys than if you craft them
@MrX-nv8kp Жыл бұрын
I was wondering, too, I usually build a mixer as early as possible. Beside of this, excellent guide to create!

7:08 - In the current version of ATM8, that Create mod saw will alternate between several recipes unless you put a shaft on it's filter to ensure it only cuts andesite ingots into that. Unless you want andesite ladders, scaffolding, bars, etc.

It's so great to see a video showing someone starting out on survival and showing people how to build the machines, so many videos show creative builds and/or endgame that assumes viewers have prior knowledge. Hey ! I looked at your video and there's maybe something you don't know about JEI/REI : when you click on the [+] to make an item, if you shift+click the button, it'll setup as much iterations as possible (if you have what it takes to make 3 deployers, it'll setup enough to craft the 3 without needing to put in manually) Outside of that, it is a nice chill video ! :)

I love the progression in Create Mod. I just think the Superglue part is a bit of a roadblock - you either need to get lucky and find a slime, or get lucky and spawn close to a green dye source. Not the worst, but confusing for a newbie!

That is true, it is a bit of a roadblock if you get unlucky. Maybe this is something they will improve in future versions.

How is your horizontal drill powered? I usually see people using powered rails and redstone blocks, but I can't see any power source with yours. It's way more compact than others, too... Gotta learn to make it your way.
@UbersweMinecraft Жыл бұрын
I use redstone torches with powered rails instead of redstone blocks. Redstone blocks are more reliable as they won't get removed if you were to hit some water or lava. But redstone torches are cheaper and I believe the drill moves a bit faster with them as well.
