No, they should not. But at the same time when you buy such games, you automatically sign up a very extensive list where it will state that this might happen. I still play FH3 till this day. The game and dlc got delisted back in sometime around 2021. Where the game, upgraded editions of the game, and DLC was removed due to “manufacture agreements to limited years before the base game and dlc is removed” which is very disappointing till this day.

Wrong back when the crew released there was nothing of a shut down effect on the terms of service so anyone who bought the game when it initially released could legitimately sue Ubisoft if they did later alter the terms of service.

I played the crew every player has to sign a user agreement that fully explains they can pull the game whenever they want. We see this user agreement before we even see the opening and title screen. If someone didn't read the user agreement they agreed to upon booting up the game for the first time that's not ubisoft's fault, and if I remember correctly there's an arbitration clause in the agreement as well. So this law suit is probably a massive waste of time and money.

Well Ubisoft own the IP, the 'software' and the all legal rights to 'their' games and have only ever sold Licences - the disc or Cartridge was your 'licence' code as well so if you sold the 'disc' you really sold your 'licence' on to another person to access the 'software' on it. Its why you still have to put the Disc in to the Console (if you buy Physical) to play - the Disc or 'download' if you buy digitally, is just the 'delivery' method so you can enjoy the software you have a license to play. With Digital, that License is attached to your digital account so if you aren't signed into your account, the fact the Software' is installed to your hardware won't mean you can 'play' it. In fact, since the start of the PS4/XB1 era, games have not run from the disc - they have needed the software to be 'installed' (transferred from Disc/Server) to your Local Hard-drive - they don't 'run' from disc so the only 'reason' to require the disc is to 'verify' you still own the disc and therefore a 'licence' to access it - its the 'key to the playroom, but you don't own the playroom!!
