This isn't the first time Ubisoft had to shut down a F2P game, I remember Hyper Scape also got killed off. I guess Ubi really is only in it for a quick buck.

One of the best shooters I’ve played in years honestly. Great movement and gunplay which is really all you need, but the maps were also extremely well balanced and the characters were pretty much all fun to play. Literally the only issue is there was no incentive to keep on playing and so nobody did. RIP to the only good ubi project in the last decade

Its the folly of live service If fun is not a good enough incentive the the game is not good, no one needs a battlepass to play Titanfall 2

Played r6 for 6 years than my acc got hacked lost 2000 worth on items on r6 marketplace bc ubisoft couldnt recover my account quick enough (it took them 4 weeks than another 3 weeks to tell me i couldnt get my items back). Not playing it anymore.
