Let them first insert the sim, ensure there is internet on it, then let them snap the qr code on the body of the camera and send it to you over in Canada. Install the app and scan the qrcodr and thats all...you should be connected live. We have done that many times.

NO please. Most of this type of solar 4g simcard cams don't work that way. If you want to do that, then you may have to look specifically at those from hikvision or dahua that connect to wifi networks. This particular types only work when a simcard is directly installed. Cheers.

Sorry, just seeing your comment. Once it is offline, and if you have sd card installed, cctv footage will continue to record and store, but if what you have installed is subscription to cloud account, then recording will stop because it is offline. And you won't be able to view it through you phone during the period it is offline. Hope this helps. Thanks.
