​@@paulsawczyc5019 Yes, the problem is complex and while using the Fed's currency one is required to pay taxes for using it. US constitutional currency however is not paper. Therefor, protesting against taxation on Fed-paper free transactions is the only choice in hand. Property taxes for example are a taxation without a transaction and infringe on basic human right to shelter, as well as the right to own property. Having said that, contributions to local communities are vital, just not through third party that distorts one's choice to vote with their hard earned labor. Direct funding of local infrastructure,such as police/fire deps. or schools while avoiding the foreign Fed-paper would yield better results. Not easy, but at least it does not require everyone's participation. What currency we use in our free trade transactions is our choice. The only linchpin that prevents us from making this alternate choice to the Fed-paper are property taxes. All others are essentially voluntary.

There is a powerful and independent judiciary in the country. Even the state can be dragged to court if it misuses its power. Lawyers can help the students in this regard. The whole world has seen that counter protestors were the attackers in UCLA. The videos are there in the media all over the world. Students and their parents can take the help of judiciary.

Those protesters have a right to defend themselves. We have the right to the Second Amendment in this country in case we are attacked by our own government. Thomas Jefferson said the reason that Americans have the right to bear arms, is because we may have to use them against our own government.. these students and the people who support them who have money need to hire security for these students. Let's say BlackRock, and see how the police do against Black Rock
