This is great! I also didn't notice that you were speaking too fast. I actually accelerated my speed to 1.5 speed to watch faster and was still following along great!

A more gracious response would have been something along the lines of " Thank you for helping me to realise I was talking very quickly, I will try to speak more slowly, but I would appreciate if you could let me know if I speed up again as I am aware I can struggle with this" One of the gifts of being autistic is valuing truth and learning and not allowing our egos to get in the way of this. Other than this observation, I think there was a lot of interesting and useful information here. I particularly think the comment about how autism is an internal experience so its really important not to contain our understanding of it exclusively to externally observed behaviour, contains much wisdom.

Yes! That's why I have been fighting for neurological testing! Also when sent into counselors and therapists...teams should work together to assess the whole client. Behavior can be layered on top of neurological and/or can be combinations.
