"Uczmy Się Polskiego" (Let's Learn Polish) is a first professional, multimedia course in Polish as a Foreign Language. The course produced by Polska Fundacja Upowszechniana Nauki (Polish Foundation for Science Advancement) and Telewizja Polska SA (Polish State Television) is conducted under the auspices of the Minister of National Education. The scientific concept of the course was developed by Prof. Władysław Miodunka. Professor of the Jagiellonian University; who is an outstanding Polish specialist in the field of Teaching polish as a Foreign Language.
The course was designed as a TV series consisting of thirty episodes, each lasting thirty minutes. the episodes are accompanied by a coordinated coursebook. This approach allows for the introduction of linguistic layers as well as introducing Poland - a country of diverse landscape, fascinating architecture and cultural heritage. It shows all aspects of the everyday life of a Polish family. The DVD is recorded with a monolingual Polish track.

Случайно наткнулась на этот сериал пару месяцев назад. Ничего не было понятно. Теперь снова пересматриваю и практически все понимаю. Большое спасибо кто придумал так обучать языку способом полного погружения в языковую среду.

Very nice videos, but it would be helpful if there were translations of the dialogues available -- there is a lot of new vocabulary that is difficult to absorb just from listening!

+Lee Cox I have also tracked down the file in my archive. I'm adding it to the video descriptions now. I'm a little surprised that this series is as popular as it is here, so it deserves to have the additional resource.

It's actually a very good series. The only problem, as I noted, is that it's impossible to follow the dialogue without at least subtitles in Polish, and that's essential for learning vocabulary from the dialogues. I can't learn a new word if I can't hear it clearly (as I am hard of hearing) and can't grasp the context as an aid to understanding the way the word is being used.

Paragonie: Would you be willing to add subtitles for the series if for example I prepared them for you, say in .srt format (iirc youtube would accept that). You'd only have to add them to the uploaded video, it's easy to do, roll back and update. Translations are also possible etc. Only part of all the conversations is given in the film itself, that's a shame.

Глупо судить об уровне жизни по учебному фильму.Да и тогда поляки ехали к нам работать а не на оборот.Моя мать когда брата в 77 рожала с ней полячка в палате была.Они у нас хим завод строили.То что в Польше сейчас лучше чем на Украине это и ежу понятно.а вот то что лучше чем в России тут есть у меня сомнения.Ну через пару месяцев точно буду знать.когда своими глазами увижу.
