UDI005 ARROW RC BOAT RUN

This is in my opinion the best first boat to buy. It comes ready to run with a battery and charger. The battery is a 3s LIPO and is really good. The Brushless power makes this boat literally scream across the water! It really takes off and gives a impressive rooster tail blowing out the back as it darts away from the starting point. Definitely is a great first boat for anyone thinking about giving RC boating a try. The UDI009 Rapid is also a great boat and is pretty quick until you blast around with the Arrow. The Rapid works well on calm smaller waters like a pond or wind protected small lake but if you have the room to play buy the UDI005 and you wont be dissatisfied!

You got really lucky getting the two best boats for the money. I have both of these too. I put a 50 amp esc and my FlySky receiver in my Rapid and a 1500 mAh 3s in it...I could barely keep it on the water! It literally tries to jump out of the water and the motor takes it like a champ with no problems! Get a metal prop and sharpen it like a razor and watch it chew through that moss. 😉😂😂😂. P.S. put a 14.8 4S in your Arrow and watch it do something insane! Don't worry, I've ran dozens of 14.8's thru mine with stock electronics! Enjoy your new boat.😉😉😉

3S, i will stick with my Vector SR65 from Volantex. No need to 3d print anything to fit larger batteries. Uses xt60 stock. As for 4S, I got an SR80 pro coming in a couple weeks.

I bought one myself and it is a beast,Great review, I’m looking at the vector pro and might get that one in the future but this one is a beauty I changed my plugs to ec3 and got 2 more battery’s for I’m thinking of put a stronger esc and motor and try getting a 4s or even a 6s battery for mine, overall the review was nice and i am definitely looking forward to more vids and will subscribe!

I have a ProBoat Sonicwake that was about 4 times more money and I got this for my rescue boat the problem is I prefer this little one over my Sonicwake it's a rocket on rails and the battery's are super cheap.

Interesting, I get a good 15 minutes out of a full charge on the 2600 mAh 3S. I also don’t drive on lakes flat out the whole time, I’m driving up and down the strong current in creeks but even the 1-2 sec releases of throttle really seem to extend battery life. I also do a lot of medium throttle so the boat just hold position in powerful currents which is very entertaining.

I have a question a user of KZbin said that he bought one and that it broke the cable drive shaft and he bought another one and it broke too the same part and that it can't find the parts

That sucks! I personally haven’t had any problems with my boats yet. I wonder if he didn’t have any grease on the shafts? Or I guess if you got stuck in weeds a lot that would be hard on them. I have 6 packs through my Arrow and maybe 10 through my Rapid with zero problems so far. I hope that’s not going to be a problem but we will have to wait and see.

@@ND3600 yes i even found parts of the udi005 in aliexpress and some other sites but the problem here is that If I buy the udi005 I see that the cable drive shaft is very easily to brake because is made of Braided wire not a steel bar totally it's like braided wire and the thing is that I could buy the parts but I can be buying that part over and over and how hard could be to change it

The red one is the UDI009 Rapid. I ordered mine off of eBay. They also come ready to run with a battery. The stock battery is a Li-ion that is ok. It’s a great little boat if you’re wondering if you want to try rc boats. Hope you enjoy!

I have this boat and really like it except spare parts are not easy to come by. I had to order a new prop shaft and only found it available at rcmodelsonline.com and they ship from China so it will take about 4 weeks. I have 4 batteries for my boat and one of them always goes into slow mode about 30 seconds into the run. I have no idea why.

So a rebranded atomik for anyone curious. Rollover boats suck honestly. Self righting boats have tons of issues. Also they don’t represent any real skill in rc. They are the “bashers” of the water world

The reason why you going into limp mode with the big battery is because it's a 50c discharge rating it's too high for that boat
