I can play by ear and adjust things real time... advice? Just getting into DAW.

​@@fdwyerSDMM I just go with the flow, but first I choose a scale (which can be C#m, Am, etc.), other times I play chords on the keyboard and modulate between several scales, then I shape all this. Another thing I do before I start is compose a melodic or harmonic base, and I choose some general VSTs that I'm going to work with. I use Logic Pro because for me Apple is the best place to create music, I have had a very good experience with macOS.

This synth sounds so amazing, I hope to be able to play it as skillfully as this someday. Have you had any issues with it so far? It seems slightly plagued by hardware issues and firmware bugs so far, but it sounds so beautiful it's easy to forgive.

How does the Super Gemini suit you? It's on a list of possible "big boy" polysynths I'm looking into saving up for. Only saving up for 1 great one. How would you stack this up against the other major modern polys? Summit, Prophets, OBX8, etc?

@@halcyoI have also forgotten the Arturia Polybrute 12, which is certainly worth considering ! It’s a tough choice you have to do, which depends a lot on how versatile you want your synth to be in terms of sonic capabilities…

I own the prophet 10, OB-6, Analog 4 and virus TI2. I'd say that is a perfect setup for me. I don't really need the Analog 4 and that's the only thing I could replace in the future, but I'd say limit the amount of synths you own as possible. You have a world of possibilities through your computer along with a small array of powerful synths and you are good.
