It’s beautiful seeing a mother and a son working together seamlessly in a restaurant. They work mostly in silence which goes to show how harmonious they are. I can imagine how it must’ve been like when the son first started working and the mother and father teaching him all that he knows now. Wishing these two all the best and longevity in life ❤

They work in beautiful harmony, no need for talking. The gentleman has an enormous amount of patience and kindness for the strong lady. He constantly watches her and makes sure that she is doing okay. It is very inspiring to watch them have so much respect for each other. I have been to a few shops like this one in Japan, where I felt very humbled before the endurance of the elderly and mostly before their commitment to excellent customer service. Thank you for sharing the video.

I just randomly get in to this Resturant and found out there is so many history there. The mother invited us to write down the feeling at her memory book and she told us her legs was injured and pin but she still try her best to dish out for us. "Natural"? It's artificially enhanced to appeal to the creepy ASMR demographic. Natural ambient and environmental sounds would be very welcome, this isn't. Only specific things are audible and everything else is muted. You don't wonder why? The internet is full of creeps and those that pander to them.

@@Lycaerix You're way too aggro for no reason. Maybe you have misophonia? I do, most of what is considered ASMR triggers anger in me rather than a good feeling. This could be an ASMR video for some, but it's definitely just a natural video that's enjoyable without annoying music or talking. So people get pleasure out of sounds, so what? Even if it's sexual for some doesn't make it "creepy". It's just something people's brains do naturally. Just enjoy it and relax.

One of the many things I enjoyed about Japan when I lived and studied there for a summer is that there are so many places that specialize in a specific dish and take that dish to the highest level rather than having a menu with dozens and dozens of items. The best meals I found were in little family places like this in the back alleys in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Arimatsu. The udon shops offered huge bowls of steaming noodles at a reasonable price with ingredients that were fresh beyond reproach.

@@deloreswilson1798 not much to see in china and the people are rude and arent as open to foreigners. i am of chinese descent myself. i would recommend taiwan and japan if u wish to have more of an oriental experience. taiwanese and japanese are the most welcoming well mannered and respectful people and their cultures are so breathtaking

well in some cases in a restaurant you have no choice but to do that especially when dealing with some cooking method like using high pressure cooker, Japan actually have plenty of fresh water and its actually a surplus and they are actually very frugal in term of water consuming compared to other nations.

This reminds me of the grandma that used to sell fresh made udon for lunch in downtown SF- I had to rush thereto get in line and if I wanted to get some - they also close the shop when sold out. I appreciate these restaurants where hard work translates to the taste in their food. Thank you.
