This was a fantastic little tutorial. I was not aware of how easy the localization tools were to work with. In the past I have done it manually in a much more difficult way.

For me works the text localization, but the asset localization(images and data tables) just wont work, I try using a clean project, reinstalling the UE4 and again using another clean project. And I set up the Localization packaging to check the supported languages and Initialization support to ALL. In the output log I get this LogContentValidation: Display: Validating Texture2D /Game/L10N/ro/ThirdPersonBP/1.1 (1 is my image)

Thank you for the tutorial! But I am stuck, because "Create localized asset" has only the current culture available as an option. Also that option changes when i change current culture in viewport runtime. Doesn't work either way.

You're welcome 🙂. You mean the step at 12:30 right? Did you set your main language via the small dot before the culture in the localization dashboard? Try to compile all of your cultures via "Compile Text" again and then try to create the localized asset maybe this helps.

Nice Tutorial but i have a little Question! Must the UI in the same Order with the stringtable? Then the Combobox not working by me :/ German: Muss die UI Datei im selben Ordner liegen wie die Stringtable und das Locali..? Den bei mir fühlt er die Auswahlbox nicht. Woran kann das liegen? Hello, everything works perfectly, but when I build the game, everything is automatically set in English (even if the first language of the game is in Italian) and from the language settings I do not give way to change (only the check mark remains in English), even if when I press play from unreal it also gives me Italian as a first language ... did I miss a step?
