If you only need one sound for both turning on and turning off the flashlight, you can also just move the Play Sound 2D to sit between the branch and the F key action nodes, since it doesn't matter when it's called if you're just going to be using one sound anyways - doing this'll just nicely save up some room and make it a bit quicker to edit and construct the function

Thanks, this was a great starting off point for me to make a flashlight in my game. Though I ultimately just used what you've shown as a jumping off point, and fully setup the flash light with a battery system, enum states, etc. Thanks for your help!

The reason for not using flipflop doesn't make sense. It has a built in boolean for whether or not A is on so you end up with the same result with less clutter in the blueprint. Also, if you use toggle visibility on the spotlight as well then you don't get the issue of the flashlight resetting to 10000000 intensity every time to turn it on and off. Lastly you can reduce the excessive light intensity by changing the attenuation mode away from inverse squared falloff.

hi. great tutorial. when you plug the power node into the opacity node while making the first material, im not getting the same result as your. ie. a gradient one. mine is fully lit.

Hello, i managed to create Flashlight / battery system where when it drops below 20% of battery charge it changes intensity to lower. Any ides how you could set up system that will 1. Start fading intensity based on %, so when it hits 30% of battery charge it will start fading intensity to 0 ??
