The upper body looks to rigid, otherwise everything is fine.

Yeah this was first implementation. Easy fix is changing the alpha value for the blend on camera switch.

How. I can't get both of them working
@lz40903 ай бұрын
Nice. It seems the head is stabilized for the camera movement, did you add some logic to that? Thanks
@beYOndd3 ай бұрын
No logic, thats from the springarm, If you wanna get rid of that just parent the camera directly to the character mesh!

@@beYOnddwhat if I wanted it to be absolutely that all the time. Making a first person horror game and started off using ALS v4. Looks super clean at first glance for lower body locomotion but when you turn fast you can see your characters head. So then I made my own locomotion system using mixamo and that solves seeing the players head when turning fast but the locomotion is super janky especially moving backwards because Amin BP keeps crossing over between -180 and 180. So this new GASP looks promising from your videos to solve both problems so I’m gonna try your tutorial tmr but any tips to make sure the players head/body is mostly locked facing forward in first person so when you spin around fast you don’t see your body. This is a vital feature for a first person horror game because if something scary or loud happens behind you, you want to instantly turn to look at it which is where the problems arose from seeing the players character to begin with lol.

Will you make a tutorial on aiming down sights? Or a reticle when blind firing and aiming? I think you would be the first to do it!
