Iole asking good questions, and gotta give respect to Volk. Being from Hawaii I'm a Max fan through and through. Even though Volk has beaten him x3 times with 2nd fight being questionable, I'm a van of his also. And his honest opinion on picking Max is valid, being he's been in there with him for x3 championship fights and defended it. He got a feel for topuria too when he lost the belt to him. So he's seen both fighters in action and his honest assessment is that he thinks Max will be victorious. Ilia whining about that is petty.

Check Ilia fights from the beggining and you will see a clear evolution without losing a fight, and each fight he uses a different strategy. Max is a awesome person and fighter, but Ilia es the new Generation of MMA fighters. I can say in few years, everybody will train like Ilia, in order to win.

I lean Topuria for sure, but, Max can win this fight beyond any question..While they both have a 69 inch reach, Max's legs and torso are way longer, which will give him a big reach advantage in real world fighting..If Max uses his length, stays in perpetual motion, in and out with the kicks and jabs, with his cardio and chin, he could be very hard for Topuria to find, and could certainly win. I think Topuria gets it done, but wouldn't be surprised, if Max wins by employing that strategy..
