This was not the Stipe we should have seen. His retirement should have happened after his last fight, not this one! The heavyweight title, the most prestigious in combat sports, should be contested by two prime athletes-the best of the current era, not former champions. This fight felt like a waste of time, money, and opportunity. Jones should face the interim champion next, or the title needs to be vacated!
