What haters keep saying is that Khamzat will gas out, and hence the favorite is DDP in late rounds. You need to understand that the amount of energy Khamzat invests in 1st round equals the amount of energy his opponent loses in the same round, however, the likelihood of him finishing his opponent is the best in 1st round, given there is not enough time to get injured. Dricus said something very significant - Burns and Usman who compete regularly at a lighter weight took Khamzat into deep waters. Burns dropped him. Usman in round 3 was starting to turn the tide. We always thought Khamzat would lose in the later rounds and I think that’s still accurate due to his pace. We saw he would struggle when met with any real resistance (Burns & Usman). Dricus is a beast, and I think this is the perfect fight. Dricus and Khamzat tend to fade later in the fight due to the pace and so I predict a fight of the year slug fest after Dricus defends the takedowns in the early going. On the feet I think Dricus is just a bit sharper and has more power and that could edge him to a victory. Really excited for this fight.

@@jugentdoo291 I'm no expert, but when they climb on the scale, they are in a severely de-hydrated state. So being 1 pound overweight in your absolute most de-hydrated state, means you are several pounds heavier than your opponent on fight night. It is a big deal.

I’ve been an avid khamzat pusher since he beat Ikram. I was commenting everywhere he should go to the UFC. I’ve always been one to push khamzat since he joined the ufc and I’ve been right every time. KHAMZAT CHIMAEV is the best wrestler the ufc in terms of mma wrestling. He will be the 185 champion. Mark my words once again. Favorite fighter of all time.

The craziest thing is people ignoring the gas tank issue. Chimaev got outstruck by Burns and Usman in the latter stages of their fights. There really isn't a way Chimaev stops the fight early so the gas tank is going to be a huge factor, there's a reason he has dodged 5 round fights even as a main event caliber guy.

DDP for me. kamzat performs well when he is in charge and if not he really struggles like with burns, i dont see him getting an upper hand physically with DDP, DDP ragdolled whitticker around worse than kamzat did

Dricus is strong in grappling and can get up seemingly easily most of the time. If khamzat only barely beat burns i doubt he will beat dricus he slows doen at times snd dricus could catch him there.... i might be wrong i do notice a change in khamzat snd msybe his up and down performances were due to health issues. In any case this fight will be very competitive

Dricus wins either by KO or submission, I think. Khamzat wins the first round, but Dricus keeps moving forwards, starts countering Khamzat's takedowns, and gets top position
