What powerful, loving, Spirit-filled words from this true man of God. As an English Anglican clergyman I weep, but wholly agree, in the Archbishop's words that we are betraying those English Anglican missionaries who brought the Good News to Uganda. He is so right to say ' The way to heaven is not in Canterbury, the way to heaven is in Jesus'.

John Chapter 3.3. The evangelism of the gospel, is essential. Nobody can repent unless they understand that they are sinners. Evangelism Explosion III courses etc must be started. "You must be born again and baptized in the Holy Spirit" You can't call yourself a Christian unless you are. That is your statement of faith in Jesus Christ. And it must be evidenced in your Cristian life going forward.

God bless the Church in Africa! Sadly, I suspect it has been many decades since the Anglican Church _within England_ had any Bishop or Archbishop who has been as steadfast and faithful to the Gospel as the Ugandan Archbishop in this clip! What shines through in Africa is a passionate _faith,_ a real reverence for Christ, and a real respect for scripture. But in England, the most senior clerics (especially) are quasi-political figures whose chief desire seems to be to fit in smoothly with the increasingly atheistic and hedonistic society around them. I don't remember seeing any of them calling people to repentance - at least not in the last four decades of time that I can remember. And I don't remember seeing any one of them really forcefully and fearlessly proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. If they talk about God or the Bible at all it is only in a hugely watered-down and oblique way! Of course, things have become even worse in the last two decades. I suspect the Church in England has actually been infiltrated by liberals (and probable secret unbelievers) with an agenda to attack and undermine all scripture-based doctrines and to foment confusion and apostasy. I know that's quite an extreme suggestion, but if it's not the case...well...then how can we explain what has happened in England?
@J_a_s_o_n Жыл бұрын
It's simple. England is under the bondage of satan and the dark kingdom. Satan has infiltrated every sector of England and the larger U.K. These churches are not led by the Holy Spirit but satan. Though there is a remnant that God always has and it's not in the mainstream religious churches.

The bishop of Anglican Church of Uganda referrenced the death of the Ugandan martyrs as stating that to tolerate and affirm the C of E would be a betrayal of the death of the martyrs. It should be noted that God is in the business of separating the sheep from the goats. When a church leader strays from Biblical commands and sanctions such things as same sex marriage, it is a clear sign that this leader has succumbed to the devils deceptions and has revealed his true identity. Therefore a separation from this leader & church is required.

Archbishop Mugalu mentioned how 150 years ago, Ugandan marriages were polygamous. They were fine and happy. Then here come the outsiders. Missionaries taught the Ugandas one man and one woman for life was God's way according to scripture and passionately professed these scriptural truths. The Ugandans shouldn't have listened or believed in light of 2023's morality, right? Scripture doesn't change nor do the interpretations thereof. We are now at a crossroads. Is the word of God valid and living truth in whole or in part? Praise God for men of clarity and boldness who speak with no wiggle room on this subject.

Just because that’s what you want doesn’t mean that God agrees with you! I reference Rev. Ethel Ruff, an ordained Baptist minister! Wonderful, much loved lady who became her conference’s first woman minister in 1943! When her mother was in hard labour with her in 1910, she begged God to save her life for the sakes of all her other children! In gratitude, Mrs. Ruff dedicated her new baby Ethel to the Lord! Ethel heeded God’s call when she was 22! Before being ordained, she studied the faith and served as a traveling evangelist! Her family and my mother’s family were close friends!

The Archbishop of the Anglican Church needs to understand that he is not God and his job is not to over rule God's word in favour of those who have committed genocide, colononialism, slavery and today commit neo-colonialism, the slaughter of millions of innocent people and illegal debt traps, so they can add the sin of homosexuality to their list and be admired for it. His job is to bless people and what they do on behalf of God in accordance of God's word as presented in the book, not in accordance of the wishes of billionaires, oligarchs and so called globalist elites or he is not serving God, but serving the devil. His job is to speak God's word backed by the power of God, not show the actions of a coward with no power as soon as he is threatened or summoned by billionaires, oligarchs and so called globalist elites or he has no faith at all. He should stop listening to the hopeless claims that the numbers in the UK attending church are dwindling and so they must accept same-sex marriages, as if church is a nightclub trying to attract clients, church is not a business and what makes it a church is the fact it does not accept, bless or promote same-sex marriage and many other sins, so if it does accept these things, it will not be a church at all and place for listening to God's word and worshiping God, but will instead be a place for listening to the devil's word and worshipping the devil, just to get high numbers. Is the Archbishop saying that people of the Anglican church should stop worshipping God and listening to God's word and start worshipping the devil instead? And is he trying to trick those who worship God , the African priests and the African population into doing just that? Maybe this is the signal that churches in Africa break free from the churches run by former colonial powers and their friends and become orthodox churches, or become connected to black churches in America, or start a new African denomination looking at the Bible from African eyes away from the colonial mindset that thinks it is above God's word, maybe adding any other scriptures such as the book of Jubilee found in the Ethiopean orthodox church, or even starting new African denominations side by side with African Americans. I would gladly move to a new African denomination, Orthodox or the Ethiopean Orthodox church and am already considering changing denominations. African leaders need to support their priests in staying firm in continuing God's work and spreading God's word with the door left open to supporting those priests in forming a new African church if necessary to continue God's work as written in the scriptures. I have said it before that the argument that homosexuality should be accepted as normal or normalised because the participants are consenting adults means or is an argument that incest and beastiality too should be accepted and normalised and that is the long term goal of the leaders of these former colonial powers and their friends. Already in Spain it has been made legal for a human being to practice sex acts on an animal as long as the animal is not hurt which is an experiment for them to bring these ideas in., in the future, and those who are fighting for gay rights in the UK are already calling for it to be legal for adults to participate in sex acts with 10 year olds. Praise be to God. Peace and love
