@@SeanandEmily the area around St Just was a major Tin mining area with tunnels going out under the sea for miles. If you’re ever back in the area visit the Levant & Botallack mine museum with some incredible engine houses (which housed the pumps for the mines) built right on the cliffs which are stunning.

There was a great display of UK culture on this side of the pond this weekend. Def Leppard started their 2024 tour. It was an amazing concert! 60-year-old rockers were still rocking! The Thunder God was smiling the whole time while wearing his Union Jack headphones.

True that, we were trying to save as much time for Scotland as we could. The Scotland part of the tour might just be the most beautiful scenery in all of Europe! -can't wait to share it

Firstly back in the 70’s when I lived in Scotland we could get a bag of chips for a mere 5 pence, hard to believe but true. Also I was born and brought up just outside Newquay in an area called Wadebridge. Twenty years later in 84 & 85 I worked in Newquay and it was a nice town but these days as you mentioned it’s looking a bit rough around the edges. It’s still a beautiful part of the U.K. though. I’m looking forward to watching your next video of Cheddar Gorge, I went there a couple of years ago and that was really nice. 👍
@SeanandEmily5 ай бұрын
Wow 5 pence! I think we might have lived on chips for that price 😁. That’s something nice about the chip shop that everyone can enjoy it. Yeah a really beautiful part of the UK and hopefully it will get some restoration work done in the future to bring it back to its former glory 😊 Actually really looking forwards to sharing the Cheddar Gorge video this week -it’s also really spectacular. We got there later than planned but important is we made it 😊

Brilliant as usual. Our first road trip with another GSA is planned for next year - West coast of France from the top to Spain, Portugal, Spain, Andorra and France via Carcassonne and Poitiers. You having been there and done that is a great help. One question though: did you ever get any problem flying your drone like you do? How do you manage it? Cheers!
@SeanandEmily5 ай бұрын
Sounds like a great route and should be lots of fun. No we did not have any trouble, that said rules have got increasingly strict especially in France so best to refer to the country guidelines and be discrete. 👍🏻

The sea view there is very beautiful because the water is very clear with white sand. Actually, is the sea water there cold or not?
@SeanandEmily5 ай бұрын
Yeah it’s really beautiful! In the summer the water can be upto 18 degrees but most of the time a wetsuit is a good idea 😉. We remember playing in the sea as children without a wetsuit so it must have been warm enough 😊

I just discovered your channel and have enjoyed several of your travel videos. Well done. I ride an R1250 GSA, and I'm still trying to find a stable camera mount system for my Insta360 and DJI Motion 2 cameras. The assembly you have on the starboard front of the bike looks perfect. Hi and welcome to our channel. Thanks ever so much for leaving a comment -it's always nice to hear from the viewer. Yeah it took a while to get the setup right, but in the end we are using the boom bar from go pro (actually 2 of them). For cameras we are using the DJI Action 4s

Would a budget breakdown for the trips be appropriate or it prys too much on personal life, I mean just ferry cost or anything to transport the motorcycle and stuff but anyways, cheers and hope you both have a safe trips!
@SeanandEmily5 ай бұрын
Hi, we have no problem discussing budget on the trip and I think we regularly mention the prices of things like the hotels and the Tunnel cost. The only reason we don't go too deeply into the prices is that it changes so often and as we travel mostly off season so we often get things cheaper than at peak times (also mentioned a lot too). Thanks very much and we hope you continue to enjoy the channel =)
