This song and performance is their gift to the fans, ARMY. Some members are already in the military being an army "literally". In S.Korea, they are mandated by the government to serve the army for 18 months and two members are already enlisted while the others will follow. They are expected to come back in 2025 as seven. In my opinion, this song is probably a message to their supporters that they'll come back to continue our journey so we can patiently wait for their safe and grand return. Thank you for reacting to BTS. Hoping to see more. I'd recommend their Medley Live concert in their *Love Yourself: Speak Yourself* tour. I personally like their concert in New Jersey but the video is hard to find. Some recommend the Osaka one but there is also in Wembley. The songs played are Dope > Baepsae (Silver Spoon) > Fire > Idol.

Yeah, you got what Take Two meant by the end.. It was released as a Festa gift. Festa is an annual celebration that lasts around 2 weeks to celebrate BTS' debut. They debuted on 13 June 2013. So they had announced last year that they would be taking a little hiatus to focus on solo work since they would all be enlisting in the military. They have been referring to this solo work era as their Chapter two. This song has so many references to their old songs.. It's a reminder that they will be back as seven. It means a lot that even though not many k-pop groups last beyond 7 years, they feel forever young and like they can dream of forever because BTS and ARMY have each other 💜💜

'take two' is a bangtan song that is very hard to decipher fully from an outside perspective like yours, but it's basically a fan song through & through in a way that only bangtan can write a fan song. the entire song is addressing us, army, & them, bts, & it does so by referencing a TON of previous songs & metaphors from their discography. basically, it's the perfect gift of a song to release on their 10th anniversary :p & on that note, no, bangtan is NOT disbanding or whatever you might think lol they're just not gonna be making any music as 7 until 2025. solo projects are still keeping fans EXTREMELY busy until that happens tho lol (like agust d / yoongi's 'haegeum' etc. that you've heard & j-hope's 'on the street'!) thanks for the lovely reaction & for trying your best to decipher the lyrics! you definitely got the gist of it right!

Take Two is about their 2nd chapter. BTS just celebrated their 10th anniversary and this song is yet another confirmation to ARMY (their fandom name) that they will continue to walk together with us into the future. Based on their hair alone, I would say this was filmed in October 2022, possibly early November, prior to Jin enlisting in the military in early December. All able-bodied men are required to serve for 18 months. BTS has promised to return as a group sometime in 2025. RM, j-hope, Jimin and Suga/AgustD have all released solo albums and have done multiple collaborations over the past year. Jin released a solo song (The Astronaut), a collaboration with Coldplay, prior to enlisting. Jungkook (JK) will be releasing an album in July and we’re waiting on a time frame for V’s album. Also, in Jimin’s most recent livestream, he stated that he’s working hard on new music. So, we may be getting more from him this year. If you guys are truly interested in exploring BTS for real, you need to watch/react to: “A Guide to BTS members: The Bangtan 7” by Taylor Mari. I would also suggest you seek out ARMYs to help direct you through your journey. You can of course decide on how you want to go about it, but there’s just so much content. Their discography, including solo work, is around 350 songs/tracks. Many songs have explanation videos to explain lyrics with cultural context. The depth of their artistry is absolutely incredible! They also have a variety show called “Run BTS” with well over 150 episodes and have done 6 seasons of shows that follow them on vacations. Not only are they extremely talented artists, they are also humble and hilarious! I’m a 56 year old DOA (Dope Old ARMY as named by RM) from the US. I remember when MTV launched, when Michael Jackson’s first video debuted, etc. Given all of the music I’ve been exposed to in my life, I have never experienced anything close to BTS. Take Two is their gift for their fans ARMY. It was shot last year, because two of them are now serving in the army. They debuted in 2013. They lived together in one roof. Take two is also chapter 2 solo activities for the group until all of them have finished military service in 2025

Basically, their chapter 1 was 2013-2022 It was supposed to be on 2020 but pandemic happened. The cut was bec of the mandatory enlistment in SK. Thankfully, BTS LAW came out and gave them permission to still not go until age 30. The oldest member JIN enlisted last yr. December as he turned 30 same month last yr dec 2022. Jhope entered last april. And all 5 remaining members are expected to enter d military until December. They are expected to comeback by d end of dec 2025. Jin will be d first 1 to finish hia duties next yr in June. Chapter 2 is all about their solo performances & all d event that will happen until their comeback, assuming in 2026 it'll be their chapter 3.

Like others have said, this song was their gift to ARMY (their fans) for their 10-year anniversary since their debut (which was June 13, 2013). You may be right about Take Two having a double meaning - BTS being together and also together with ARMY. The guy that started it off is Jungkook. He is the youngest and has been their main vocalist since the age of 15 at their debut. He sings most of the vocal guides that the others learn their parts from within the BTS group songs. As for English, most of their songs are in Korean or Japanese with some English. They have 3 all-English songs, and they were all 3 hits, and are great but they were put out during the pandemic as feel-good songs to help make everyone feel better (including themselves, I think). They are Dynamite, Butter, and Permission to Dance. I recommend a few videos for you to watch to start: 1) BTS Festa Room Live 2021 - it is a medley of some lesser known songs on B-sides. If you watch that, the Album Name & Cover is on the bottom right and the song name is bottom left of the screen. People get confused about that. It is a Medley - not whole songs - but it will give you a flavor of some of the types of music they have and their rapping and singing abilities. 2) An Guide to BTS Members: the Bangtan 7, by Taylor Mari. It is long, but ARMY will watch it again and provide commentary on your reaction. Also, it is current as of May 2022 and a LOT has happened since then, so just keep that in mind. 3) Jungkook as the Main Vocalist of BTS, by Ida S. 4) MicDrop (Steve Aoki Remix) MV - just because it was/is highly popular and is pretty intense. There are a lot of others and their discography is massive between BTS and each members solo mixtapes and no solo albums, with more on the way. Enjoy the journey! My introduction to BTS was Black Swan. I'm in my 60's and I'll just say they are the Best, Most Talented, Hard Working Artists I've ever witnessed!

Others it seems have told you this but Take Two is referring to BTS' next chapter. They spent the first 10 years of their career together - basically while they were all in their teens or 20s - being constantly together, working & traveling non-stop. Starting last year they're taking a little break as a group, allowing each of them to do their 2 years of military service, as well as to get some rest & renew their creative juices through a lot of collaborations and pursuing solo projects & other interests. Only 2 of them are currently enlisted in the military and the other 5 have yet to go. Their solo work has been amazing too so you should check that out - all so different but as usual for BTS, only top-tier quality. Others will probably tell you this too but it would probably be very helpful to watch one of the many KZbin documentaries about them to get a sense of who they are & where they've come from. You have managed to start in the Middle Of their 10th Anniversary Festa! Basically it’s the Anniversary of the day they Debut and the the day the Fandom Army was established! They actually announced their hiatus during last years festa and just about gave everyone a heart attack! Lol So not the case! We got another concert In October in Buson Jin flew to Argentina to perform his song Astronaut with Coldplay! JungKook performed at the World Cup is Song Dreamers! J Hope headlined at the Lollapalooza is new Album Jack in the Box! RM then dropped his album Indigo! Sugga is now at the end of his world tour! He also dropped a new album D Day! I went to that concert in Chicago it was amazing! Jimin dropped his album Face! We still have JungKook and V to drop their Solo Albums and I’m sure more surprises along the way! I’m 59 years Army from Texas and I absolutely love the Seven amazing young men! I have to sons around the same ages and I feel like I have Seven more! Take 2 is BTS chapter 2. They signed 2 contracts with HYBE until 2027 but before their latest contract ends in 2027, they already signed a new contract for another 7 years ensuring fans that they will be back for chapter 2 as a group, As uSga said they will be 60 and still be BTS. their relationship has transcended business and professional relationship since they grew up and use to live together,

71 year old BTS Army here. This is a Festa (10th Anniversary of their debut in 2013), gift for their Army that refers to their mandatory 18 month military service that each will enlist in before the end of this year. Two are already enlisted, jin and J-hope. Their plan is to reunite as a group in 2025. They wish for Army to be there for their return. The one whose voice you commented on in the beginning is their main vocalist Jung Kook. His solo album will release tentatively next month. BTS hasn’t split up, they had to pause their group activities for 2years for mandatory military service (18mos to 2years). Members Jin and JHOPE are already on active duty w the other members to follow one by one by then end of 2023. Normally young South Korean must enlist before 28, but the BTS law was created by the government to allow them to defer to 30. The plan is for every member to enlist so that all 7 will return together in the 2nd half of 2025. Take Two was filmed last year before Jin enlisted in December for their 10th anniversary. I recommend reacting to their BTS Cyphers 1-4 and all of AGUSTD’s MVs.He is currently on the Asian leg of his solo world tour (we saw him in LA) and plans to broadcast his upcoming Seoul concert live.

Take Two i think is their confirmation to the fandom that they going to come back again for chapter 2, sing together again, eye to eye…take two to continue the world tour that was supposed to happen in 2020 but the pandemic hit. Take Two to do it all over again with a fresh start and fresh new perception of the world. As a fan, I am eager to see what ideas and thoughts they will bring to their music when they come back from their service, and their experiences while doing solo activities. thanks for checking on them. Fun fact when you sing in English, your accent disappears. But when speaking you can hear it. That of course is 90% of the time, some words might have a little affect on the words, especially if you are singing in English and it’s not your first language. That’s more along the lines of mispronunciation of certain words, because of the lack of clarity on those words. The melody, beat, and cadence of the words make it, that when you hear it, you would never have thought they didn’t speak fluent English. Accent disappears when you hear British people singing, accent is pretty much gone. Also because, English doesn’t have harsh sounding pronunciation of words, the rolling the tongue, and sounds that are made to sound harsh don’t exist in the English words.

Youth in Korean terms is more what we think of young adulthood, say 18-30. Being idols with a hectic schedule their entire youth was spent with ARMY and each other. Take Two is for when they are reunited as 7 in 2025 - and us ARMYs can’t wait! They filmed this around Oct - Dec 2022 to be released for their 10th Anniversary celebration. As for recommendations watch the rest of Proof Live - where Born Singer was the 1st song. BTS Tiny Desk and BTS Room Live Festa 2021 are also great for newcomers to BTS as it’s a similar format where it’s easy for you to focus on their singing & rapping. They are formidable dancers too so you have that to look forward to.

It is really common for BTS to write songs of appreciation and love for ARMYs, the fandom. JHope and Jin are both serving in the military now and the rest of the guys will be enlisting soon. This had to have been recorded in November or the first few days of December of 22, prior to Jin reporting to training. The guys soeak of getting back together in 2025. Those tgat have done their solo albums (all but V and Jungkokk now) takk about liking the experience but also missing their group when on stage, doing promo, and when creating. They have a level of respect and affection for eachother i dont think i have witnessed in a group in my over 50 years on the planet. Enjoy the ride. Think about checking some of their old stuff, they started as a hip hop group with amazing performance. If you arent ready for that then check Mic Drop. It is a flex song but so enjoyable and smart.

this is actually a gift song during their festa 10-year anniversary celebration! they have had a festa anniversary celebration every year since their first anniversary June 13th, 2014. In June 2022 BTS announced hey hiatus from group activity (a group hiatus in Korean K pop doesn't mean they broke up it means they took another direction for a while). BTS debut on June 13th, 2013. Most of them were in there mid to late teens at that time. For example, the youngest member says he joined BTS at 15 years old Korean age. That is about 13 or 14 international ages. In Korean culture and Korean age when you are born you are one year old. Nine months in the womb they rounded up by three months. In Korean age you don't age on your birthday everybody in the country ages on January 1st. So the youngest member was probably around 13 when he joined BTS in around 2012. 14 or 15 when they debuted in 2013. anniversary is from debut not when they first got together as trainees. Members joined big hit entertainment between 20/09 and 2011. Starting their training periods, they started training as a group around 2011. some members have been together for 13 years. depending on how early they joined big hit entertainment as trainees. anyway in 2022 billion now they were taking a hiatus as a group to work on solo projects such as solo album solo concert tours and other activities. June 10th, 2022. in august 2022 they put on a free concert in Busan south Korea with 200,000 fans present. first solo album release by J hope he joined the Korean military in April 2023. the oldest member had already joined the military in December 2022. this is mandatory military service because north and south Korea are technically still at war since 1950. in 1953 there was a ceasefire but there's never been a peace treaty! take two is connected to their chapter 2. Chapter one is from 2013 to 2022! Nine years together as a group! Chapter two started 9th anniversary when they announce each member would be working on solo album projects. This live video clip was made mid 2022 before Jen joined the military in December 2022. They prerecorded a lot of stuff half a year early for their 10th anniversary since all of them would not be able to be present for the anniversary. The festival lasted from May 31st through June 17th one member sugar AKA August D was on his August D D-Day solo concert tour until the 16th of June 2023. But all members including the two in the military sent messages and letters to army fans and the other members. All members that are not in the military did special video chat with fans and each other! Active military members in Korea are not allowed to release videos of themselves.

Just caught up with your BTS reactions and I am loving your genuine and thoughtful reactions! As others have said this song was actually speaking to ARMY, the fans. It was released during Festa, which is a yearly celebration of BTS' anniversary date (June 13th 2013) that lasts for a week or two and during which time they release new songs like this along with a myriad of other content for us to enjoy. They frequently release songs for/addressed to the fans during this time. I cant wait to see where you guys decide to go next with your BTS reactions, but want to put my vote in for the guide by Taylor Mari called "A Guide to BTS Members: The Bangtan 7." This song is for ARMY!!! We are their fandom, the worlds largest fandom!!! They have to go to serve 18 months in the military because it is mandatory there!!!
