"Ukrainians have been able to take heavy mechanised infantry fighting equipment beyond the first two major Russian defensive field fortification layers."
Poland's weapons suspension might have come too late to halt Ukrainian advances through Russia's southern defensive lines says George Barros from @UnderstandingWarOrg

Another analyst overestimating Russia's grasp on anything that resembles strategy and intent. This is not a win for the Kremlin. Poland has given Ukraine everything it can without degrading its own security. There's nothing left to send now, except the modern equipment Poland's own security depends upon. All of the interested parties, on both sides of the conflict, are running out of arms. The Kremlin isn't playing 3D chess, it's desperately trying to hold onto the reins of a runaway horse and when they get lucky, the West credits it to cunning strategy.

And attempt "to understand" what's causing this conflict between neighborly friends and recognize how they'd been allowing the struggles with feelings they'd both have, of being stuck in survival mode too long, to be used against them as a tool to "play them" so as to drive a wedge between friends. The rest of us also need to wake up to take good note of it as well too. Time for us "all" to take note and to learn how global problems are about us. Poland has taken up refugees, that is true - this time. Last time they did not. Still good they took them, although it does not really come at a price for them, since the EU i.e. Germany and France are paying. Leadership from Poland? I might have missed that? When? When they did not allow Germany to build up a refurbishing center to make sure the Ukrainian tanks stay battle-ready? Or do you mean when they promised to send Mig-29 in the early days and then did not do so? Or are we talking about Poland buying its tanks from South Korea now, when Europe is integrating its army and trying to be more effective? The Netherlands let their troops be commanded by Germany, the European countries build an air defense umbrella (not under the leadership of Poland btw) and Poland does that move. Dont get me wrong, South Korea is a great nation, but the move to buy tanks from them is just... odd. Anyway, I am happy it is the US and Germany leading and not Poland. If Poland was leading, Ukraine would be lost for years!

Oh, Kate, ...what a smooth operator! In the last few seconds you cue the guy up to give you an exclusive expose of his lastest (still to be finished) work. Bonus in the mail for you then. But, ...another fantastic interviewee, given free reign and encouragement to share everything, and some well guided questioning to get to the core of what was important. Bonus well earnt.

30:00 "...mechanised operations " Even on foot, the Ukrainians, will need supplies in and medical evacuations out. To save exhausting troops, the rotation of units may also require motor transport to within a few miles of The Front. Thank you both for a most interesting interview. P S. He makes a point that seems lost on pro Russians supporters.....That Ukraine may be moving slowly but that the Russian military in general is becoming combat ineffective and a collapse is inevitable.....I can think of plenty of examples of smaller forces defeating larger ones by attrition.....can not think of any where the larger force that invaded fought a prolonged defensive war ....and somehow was successful.....any I think of , the invader was defeated or retreated unable to continue !
@lorenzcassidy3960
@lorenzcassidy3960 8 ай бұрын
I agree. To defeat a larger opponent by attrition presupposes that "WILL" and "LOGISTICS" are on your side. Ukraine has been showing that they have the will to fight. They are paying dearly in blood this resolve and there's no sign of throwing in towel for the foreseeable future. The collective West has "logistics" part of the deal in its hands. I do hope that we won't drop the ball on that.

You are clearly only listening to MSM if you believe that, the US is looking for a way out and Ukraine has no troops left ........ the counter offensive has been a huge failure and the West is not sending more weapons to be destroyed ! In the next few months America will agree to slice Ukraine up and they will withdraw support, forcing Zelensky to the table and all of this will have been for nothing !
