THE CAUSE of ulcerative colitis is food breaking down the gut lining, namely fibre, oxilates, lectins, gluten, A1 casein from dairy. I also found Appendicitis triggered a flare up for me. Strict carnivore has helped me recover. I developed colitis after incorporating grains into my regular diet for the first time in my life.

I was also on Carnivore diet and Adalimumab. However, I developed big gallstones and had to come off meat and fat. So now I'm on vegetables!!
