Dave Torres nope he can't because he left put the motive.The motive was that smoke wanted to deal in crack with the grove st family because he wanted the money and to be rich but sweet wouldn't let him because sweet knows what craxk does to people so in order for that to happen smoke set up a plan to get sweet killed but instead got his mother.the green saber was used as a distraction so they could get into grove st undetected and the reason the ballas did it was because smoke probably had to much love to kill sweet himself,so he had the ballas he was working with do it since they already hated sweet anyway.smoke would then take over grove st?not likely as grove st was took over by ballas which means smoke sold out grove st as well for the money along with the other renegade grove st members like ryder and b dup. now the case is closed.

The reason why Smoke betrayed Grove Street its because since Tenpenny was on the rise of building a drug criminal empire in San Andreas and since the Ballas and the Vagos were being controlled by Crash units which were controlled by Tenpenny and since Crash,Ballas and Vagos surrounded Grove Street. It seemed that Grove Street wouldn t stand a chance so by the end of 1986 Big Smoke became a duble agent for Tenpenny as he saw no good reason to oppuse him but he was scared to do this alone so he maneged to convince Ryder to join and he set up the "Drive By of 1987", which killed CJ younger brother Brian which made CJ leave San Andreas in the first place

Even in The Introduction, Smoke was trying to convince Sweet to join the business but he still refused so the only way to convince Grove Street families is to kill Sweet. Big Smoke hired those 2 ballas to kill Sweet but instead sweet, his mom was killed. Big Smoke was in the kitchen when CJ came back cause he was waiting for Sweet to come in the house to kill him with a bat.

Well one thing you got wrong is that Ryder never had anything to do with the Green Sabre, because Ryder never meant to betray GSF and the reason he did betray is because his voice actor MC Eiht was underpaid or something like that so he left and Rockstar just decided to make him betray Grove Street since he couldnt be a character anymore, also other proof i have is look at the mission Pier 69 CJ just kills him like its nothing (even though he was his best friend) while in End Of The Line CJ decides to have one last talk before Smoke dies and CJ shows remorse.

Conclusion- Tenpenny threatened smoke to kill Sweet if doesn't join the alliance. Smoke threatened Ryder in this game too. Smoke hired ballas to kill Sweet by a drive-by in a green sabre. CJ's mom accidentally gets killed. CJ comes to Los Santos and the events of San Andreas take place. Also, big smoke made such a huge order in the mission Drive-thru just to make an excuse of not shooting at ballas car. Big smoke takes CJ to kill some Russians in hope of getting him killed, but didn't worked. On the other hand, everything you do in Ryder's missions, it benefits Grove St. The house break in, the train you rob, the depot you loot, all these worked and GSFs then spawned with Tec-9s or SMGs. But in big smoke's missions all you do is to kill Russians, shoot vagos and no ballas. This didn't benefited GSFs at all. Smoke made a huge crack empire in CJ's and Sweet's absence in Los Santos.

The reason smoke & rider killed CJ’s mom Here’s why: Grove street’s gang leader is Sweet, CJ’s big brother. Sweet doesn’t allow anyone in the grove street gang to sell drugs, but Ryder & Big smoke wanted to trade & sell drugs. So when Brian (CJ’s younger bro) died, CJ left & went to liberty city. So big smoke & Ryder went & made a deal with the ballas gang. Since CJ left, they aimed to kill sweet, coz If sweet dies, Big smoke would be the new leader of grove street & not CJ (bcoz CJ was already in liberty city), & he will allow members in grove street to trade & sell drugs. But unfortunately, the bullet hit CJ’s mom, not sweet & that way the plan failed.

Ok what I think happened. was officer tenpenny and officer pulaski, wanted every gang to join a drug company even grove street or something like dat and tenpenney asked if smoke can ask sweet (Grove street Leader) to join in but obviously sweet wasn’t in to it. So tenpenney was mad and gave Big smoke a lot of money for the drug thing asked Big smoke to kill sweet because sweet didn’t join, so tenpenney told him to kill him but again he didn’t want because Sweet was Big smokes childhood best friend, he told that to tenpenney but tenpenney told him to kill him. So in the first mission(Big smoke) Everyone was at the cemetery(Sweet, Ryder, and Kendl) except for big smoke. How could it be?. Because big smoke wanted Sweet to get home so he could kill him. When CJ picked up his dead mom’s picture and sat down, big smoke had a bat ready and thought it was sweet but it was actually CJ. It was Big Smoke, Officer tennpeney, officer pulaski, 2 balla gang member and Ryder. Because smoke didn’t want to kill sweet he payed 2 balla gang member to kill Sweets mom and so they did, and that’s why CJ came back from liberty city, because of what happened to his mom. So that’s what I think happened u can agree👍 or disagree👎 (:

I think Little Weasel (Glen Park - Kilo Tray Ballas) is the Balla member who shot CJ's mom (same character model). In 'Doberman' mission he says 'Tenpenny set me up' and he has a Tec9 during this mission, same weapon used in the drive-by. It's possible that this is the weapon used to kill CJ's mom. I think Tenpenny says 'Do it!' on phone to Little Weasel..

Acctually Smoke was pushed by C.r.a.s.h to kill Sweet and take control of the hood, Smoke didn t want to kill Sweet, so he put some Ballas that he paid with money to do the job, but the Ballas didn t kill Sweet, and killed Sweet's mother, if you observe in the first cutscene Smoke was in house with a baseball bat, when Sweet was going to enter the house he was going to manslaughter Sweet with the bat, but when he sees CJ was surprized , becuz he know that know now it s impossible to kill Sweet. In the mission when that purple voodoo that Ryder spots, Smoke tried to make time for the Ballas to come and assasinate Sweet, but acctually , it turned into a Ballas assasination, that s why he don t shoot in the mission , he didn t want to shoot his "friends" Ballas.
