So.. that soft tubing, I thought it was an interesting choice. Didnt look fantastic like he was saying on the previous video, but when he zoomed in on the tubing and fittings when installing the m.2, omg that soft tubing is glorious! I love the soft matte look with the red accented silver fittings!

10:24 Noticed the same thing, the top lights don't need any effect. As long as it's bright (white seems to work very well) in bringing the colors you set for the rest of the lighting you have going on in your box

@@ffwast If you comparison shop some different mobos, you'll find that most have the same features to one degree or another. In my most recent experience, Asus had the better chipset (for about $75 more than other offerings), but lacked a bit in the networking department. In the end, it comes down to what you need to have, which is why it's important to shop around with those needs in mind. The best, as Penn & Teller would say, is BS.

Great build and videos Jay. I agree with you 100% on soft tubing when done correctly like you did. I also think the white fan color was a great decision. On another note, Phil did another amazing job with the montage. I like the subtle little things like labeling the components as you pass over them. It wasn't too in your face, but nice and subtle. The little cues to have some of the transitions work in unison with the audio, like the one screen tear that went perfectly with the audio screech at that same moment, brilliant work as usual. Love the channel and the work you both do as a team. Keep it up and I look forward to the last few videos of Techmas and another great year of content starting in a few more days. That was absolutely beautiful work by Phil, loved it! But is it just me, or does the new main camera still need a bit of tweaking - There is quite a bit of noise in the darker areas that makes it look a bit weird, but that might just be me.

be it hard or soft tubing,,, to each his own. it's the the matter of execution how to make it pleasing to the eyes. your keen attention to detail what makes your builds standing out among st. GOOD JOB as always Jay!
