Phil's friend Marc has a PC that was constantly overheating due to a bad CPU cooler fan... we offered to "mod" the case to put an AIO on the outside of his Fractal Design Node 202... what he got was way more than he expected! Marc is an outstanding person... find out WHY we did all of this for him at the end of the video!

Why have you been hiding this from us?! Give the Alien threadripper build an overhaul - build a fantasy themed PC - do a series like this where you get in existing systems and go full "extreme makeover" and completely over-commit to a theme that the owner kinda likes ;) The possibilities are endless with these new skills that you suddenly decided to share with us. Custom watercooling + model buildings skills = freakin amazing custom builds!

Jay, your builds and DIY tricks have always been entertaining and interesting. However, this build is on a whole different level! Seeing your passion for detail in the painting aesthetic was really something special. It seems that all of those hours working on your models has carried over in a big way. The duality of your brute force destruction of the case, followed up with a serious level of skill and finesse with the paint is amazing. I've been subscribed for years and seen all of your videos, but this build right here was worthy of my first comment that you probably wont even see. But keep doing you! Whenever you work on something you're passionate about, as a viewer, I can appreciate it as much as you do! Thank's for an awesome video! Oh, and Phil. Your build montage cinematography and editing has gotten fantastic and that destiny item description was a great touch! Keep it up both of you guys!

Where was the cringe? A man explaining a build? Doing something for a friend of a friend? Destiny 2? I don't understand. Is this a machismo thing? You think men aren't allowed to have friends or hobbies? Great job. And I hope to start a custom mod case in the future (probably once I get to build my nas/home server rig to get all those HDDs out of my main rig)

My system has 3 generations of screen atm: VGA 1600x1200, DVI 1680x1050, HDMI 1920x1080. I'll be donating my current system, build a new one, keep the HDMI and replace the VGA and DVI screens with a DP 1440p ultrawide soon... More pixels and less clutter, but it'll definitely take some time getting used to not having a mix'n'match 3 panel mess.
