Well done--both of you! Congrats on bridging a new market, Pan! That's one of the best Cyber Truck results I've seen. The hydrophobics didn't seem to be quite as amazing (but close!) as on paint; but that is easily explained. The stainless steel has a hint of "texture" to it. But that's being nit-picky. Once again, well done!
@PanTheOrganizerАй бұрын
Exactly. Yeah as good as the hydrophobic properties were on the stainless steel, they are even crazier on clear coated paint. But yeah I’m happy that Coleton said how good the CLEAN by Pan coating is on Cybertrucks and I’m getting emails and dms now from other professional detailers too saying the same so this is so cool. I just used the 8-year coating on my dads truck, I’ve used a lot of different coatings and as far as application I thought it was super nice to use, super thick like some reviews but I found that to mean it goes a lot farther than any other coating I’ve used, definitely curious about the long term durability but I might make a video when I test it on my matte car
@PanTheOrganizerАй бұрын
Cool! Thanks for sharing your experience. Yeah this coating is thick and lays a thicker film build on the surface, compared to many coatings. After a week of curing, gloss and slickness increases even more, and wait until you experience the awesome hydrophobic properties! :) Happy holidays!

@PanTheOrganizerАй бұрын
Yeah I also like caring for my appliances as you know. And you can use the CLEAN By Pan ceramic coatings on the stainless steel appliances, and so can the CLEAN By Pan Ceramic Spray Sealant. The key is to clean and degrease the surface first. I recommend the use of warm water with a bit of dishwashing liquid. Then clean and dry the surface. Then I use the CLEAN By Pan Panel Prep Spray. Then apply the protection. I might have to do a video on that! :)
@79blustoneАй бұрын
@PanTheOrganizer Definitely, you'll be surprised how oil particles from the kitchen travels around and finds it way onto your washing machines etc. A panel prep spray is important on appliances too. So far I've coated the fridge freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and use Bilt Hamber touch-on in the bathroom/ shower. Thinking of other house hold applications atm. What makes me laugh about using it in the shower- I've used Cilit Bang limescale remover on the tiles and it brings back the Hydrophobics from all the mineral build up from showering. I've got a dedicated big wheel face brush to clean the bathroom in less then half the time using normal microfiber towels. I probably need some help as my girlfriend thinks I'm nuts but she knows it works. We are a crazy bunch of people for sure! 😆

Hello Pan. Congratulations on your brand. Super excited for you. Would you mind explaining how ceramic coatings bond to clear coat? Perhaps you could explain that in a future video
@PanTheOrganizerАй бұрын
Hi Scott. Thanks for the words of support. How have you been doing? As an owner of a brand yourself, you know all too well how much time, effort, and hard work goes behind a new startup. For your question, did you ever cover that topic yourself in a video? As you have your own coatings brand, and have been selling coatings for years now, you surely have access to the people who formulate your products, so I'm sure you have covered this extensively right? If your customers reach out to you and ask you that same question, what do you reply to them? I'm curious. Did you ever reach out to industry chemists? I'm sure they'd have great answers for you. They are the best positioned to help you should you have any questions. Happy holidays to you and your family!
@dallaspaintcorrectionautod8343Ай бұрын
@PanTheOrganizer I'm not active on KZbin these days. People would love hearing from you about the science behind how ceramic coatings bond to clear coat. My days on KZbin are over 🤣. You have such a powerful reach across social media and people value your knowledge. I look forward to seeing that video discussing how coatings bond to clear coat. That should be such an easy video to make and I'm sure so many don't understand the science behind it and would love that knowledge
@PanTheOrganizerАй бұрын
I heard you are planning on a comeback for 2025 on KZbin. Is that true? And that you're planning on making deep dives into topics, so hopefully you'll cover this as well, as you have a large following too! It will be an interesting topic, with many different opinions. But to get back to my question, did you ask the chemists who formulate your products what their answer is? And what is your personal opinion on the topic? Surely you have your own understanding of how coatings work?

Pretty much answered all the questions I had in mind, prior to watching the video EXCEPT.. How do you know it's time to re-ceramic coat the vehicle? And.. Do you first have to go through a process to remove the old coating or, do you just reapply on top of the old?
@dharmendra.singh.198522 күн бұрын
I'm going to attempt to answer atleast one of my questions.. I guess you'd know it's time to redo/ reapply the ceramic coating if water doesn't bead well or if excessive fingerprinting is occurring.. maybe?
@PanTheOrganizer22 күн бұрын
These Cybertrucks are new to market, but yeah your guess is as good as mine. I would use the same method as for painted surfaces. If you see diminished hydrophobics, and have tried chemical decon and it still doesn't work, it's time to recoat the vehicle. Perhaps you can ask Coleton on his channel, as he works with Cybertrucks all the time.
@dharmendra.singh.198522 күн бұрын
@PanTheOrganizer I was actually disappointed seeing coleton here because I specifically searched youtube for "pan the organizer cubertruck" lol.. but it's nice to know he is pleased with your ceramic coating. DIY Detail did a video on how to ceramic coat a cybertruck and mentions no abrasives on the cybertruck should ever be used.. Coleton loves using his abrasive bar keepers friend 🤷♂️ even Tesla states not to use abrasives.. Tesla offers wraps but no ceramic coating.. there's got to be a reason for that lol. Anyways, of all the detailing channels out there, yours is by far my favorite 👍 All the best 🙏

Yes you can apply the CLEAN By Pan coatings on stainless steel appliances. You could also use the CLEAN By Pan Ceramic Spray Sealant for that purpose, should you want a spray option instead. Yes a second layer can be installed, within an hour of the first coat. It's not necessary though, as it's a one layer coating. The second coat would just be to ensure proper coverage if you're unsure of how well you applied it.

How does this compare to the Adams Advanced Graphene Ceramic Coating, which Project Farm found to be far and away the best ceramic coating in his testing?
@PanTheOrganizerАй бұрын
Hi. I love Project Farm for tests, but he’s not a detailer and nothing to do with the detailing world. So his tests don’t reflect long term real world testing. I had applied the Adam’s Advanced Graphene Ceramic Coating to my girlfriend’s SUV and it was doing well up to the 2.5 year mark. After that it started to fail in my conditions. So I decided to strip it off and apply the CLEAN By Pan 3-year coating. I speak about all that in this recent video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oovWgX5-g6hnn5Ysi=2IpbUIIrl7_27hiE
@James_Z-777Ай бұрын
I haven't tried Pan's ceramic coating; but I do have the Adam's AGCC on my 2017 Tundra. It was SPECTACULAR...at first. Now I'm noticing some significant degradation on the lower portion of the vertical panels. I "unclog" the Adam's Advanced about every other wash using a 50/50 mix of a ph-neutral shampoo and either Adam's Strip Wash, or Car Pro Descale. It helps; but nonetheless, I'm not happy that my so-called 9-year coating is having problems after just 18 months. Regarding Adam's on a Cyber Truck--I don't think I would even attempt it. Nearly everything I've seen regarding ceramic or ceramic+graphene is that it discolors the stainless steel. The two exceptions seem to be DIY Detail ceramic metal coating, and, apparently Clean by Pan. Although admittedly, Pan's coating did discolor the stainless ever-so-slightly.
@PanTheOrganizerАй бұрын
I seem to have experienced the same issues as you with the Adam’s coating James. I was sad too. 2.5 years in our conditions, so I agree with you far from the claimed 9 years durability. Of course I understand that durability in terms of years depends on many variables like prep, application, weather/conditions, mileage, maintenance, daily driver vs weekend driven car, in a garage vs outside in the elements 24/7, etc But I would have liked to see it get at least 4-5 years in my conditions.

Hi Bob! You are reaching the lower limits of recommended temperatures if you work in 50-55F. If exterior temps are near freezing, keep the car indoors for at least 12 hours at the above 50F temperature, as per the instructions included in the booklet in the coating box. If you can leave it overnight in the heated garage, that's better. And the best scenario is if you can heat your garage to 68-70F for the application. For any coating, the closer you are to room temperature, the better. The lower the temperature leads to longer flash time. But it's impossible to give an exact number for all situations as there are many variables to consider. That's why we always start with a small 2x2 section to assess the optimal time to let the coating on the surface before starting to level it with a microfiber towel. So apply the coating to a small section, and let it sit for 2 minutes. Then take a microfiber towel and see if you can easily start levelling. If it feels like you're just pushing the coating around, or it seems smeary, you are wiping too early. So let it go for longer. You can leave the coating on the surface for 3 to 4 minutes and that's still fine. It has to be effortless when wiping off, and feel slick.

@ thanks so much for the reply, especially on the weekend. I did wait till it was easy to level it, about 4-5 min. And on some panels 6 min. I’ll leave the door to the house open for at least 24 hours. It’s 65 in the garage right now. At 65F what’s the ideal time for it to cure? I can leave it in the garage a few days if that’s optimum.

Good to hear!! Yeah that coating is very forgiving, and can be left for many minutes before wiping. I'm glad things seem to have went super well for your application! In a week from now, the gloss and slickness will continue to increase, and wait until you see those hydrophobics!! :) Happy holidays Bob!

@@PanTheOrganizer that WAS THE EASIEST AND BEST LOOKING COATING I’VE EVER APPLIED IN MY 80 YEARS ON THIS EARTH. the prep work was a bear but well worth it. I’ve never had a finish so smooth. I would have normally done it in warmer weather but I just bought the car new and wanted to protect it. That’s the cost of buying in December. :-)

Which ceramic or other coating are your recommended use on black glosss fuel wheel?
@PanTheOrganizerАй бұрын
If you want the ultimate protection, a ceramic coating from a glass bottle is the way to go for sure. The CLEAN By Pan ceramic coatings have great resistance to high heat, so also great for wheel applications. Or you can buy a wheel specific coating like the Armour Detail Supply Wheel Coating, CarPro DLUX, Gyeon Rim EVO, etc. See my wheel coating tutorial: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qHesmaxqocmEi8ksi=5ri27q4WYWkgzSIz The other alternative, is a spray on rinse off sealant, that you can quickly apply every 1-3 months, if you want something easier/quicker to apply. CLEAN By Pan The Organizer Ceramic Spray Sealant, Gyeon WetCoat, CarPro Hydro Lite, DIY Detail Quick Beads, all good options. You clean the wheels, rinse them off, while they're wet, you spray a few sprays of the sealant, and rinse off with your pressure washer or garden hose. Boom, done.

@PanTheOrganizerАй бұрын
Merci Jean-Guy!

That CyberTruck looks amazing!! Can’t wait to coat my car with it. It’s been a bit too cold lately.
@PanTheOrganizerАй бұрын
I hear you, it's been brutally cold here too! Keep in mind to always respect the recommended temperature range for the application of the coating (as per instructions in the box). And if it's freezing outside, you need to keep the car indoors during the first 12 hours of curing.

I would highly recommend NOT using products containing ammonia on stainless steel (or any bare metal for that matter). If glass cleaners work try a few that are ammonia free and find one that works.
@OutofSpecDetailingАй бұрын
This is a comment I get a lot, and it’s completely valid! But… I’ve had conversations with the head chemist at B&B Blending about this very topic. Windex has very little ammonia, but does seem to help with cleaning the stainless steel. I’ve done relentless testing with it, and have seen zero issues. If using non ammonia glass cleaner works for you, great!
@DanielReyes-hz1qkАй бұрын
@OutofSpecDetailing The amount of ammonia is a big factor, but we often don't know how much is in a given project. Unfinished metals can also absorb ammonia, which can then react with other environmentals or chemicals to cause further damage. It's a slippery slope. I worked for a company that produced cleaning chemicals for commercial and industrial applications, seeing damage to stainless steel by ammonia was common in commercial kitchens from prolonged use (and bleach, they always use bleach), but also with knife blades and gun barrels and all kinds of stuff. One key is not letting it sit, rinsing or in these cases wiping the chemicals off quickly to reduce/prevent absorption. But hey if it works it works! Especially for quick, one time use prior to a coating. Most paint prep steps aren't things you'd want to do all the time anyway, lol Edit: I'm really impressed with how this came out! I'm in California in the Bay Area right next to a Tesla plant. I've been seeing these trucks since well before they were released and see hundreds every week (I'm a truck driver). Most are painted, powder coated or wrapped. It's awesome to see what can be done with the raw stainless versions like you did here
