💯 never mess with a company that recommends a" topper" or a booster for there coating every 60 to 90 days... there ceramic isn't doing what it should the booster is... u should decon it twice a year with a iron remover ,clay towel ,. Not a clay bar to abrasive ... stick with places that don't require toppers just reg maintenance

3 weeks in with my 8-year coating. Cleaning the car is super easy. I see some small sheeting areas behind the wheels after a week but the contact wash brings back the beading instantly. The car stays looking pretty clean and shiny between washes too, though the back end always looks the dirtiest where the water beads have evaporated leaving behind round dirt deposits. They can be visually removed simply by rinsing. Another wash due this afternoon before a week of predicted rain.

@@PanTheOrganizer My car looked great after its wash. ❤ The next day it rained and the back end got covered in the usual large, round dirt spots on top of the bumper. Today it was dry. After shopping, my wife tried to lift the tote out of the trunk with all its very heavy shopping bags and unsurprisingly brushed the top of the bumper! 😡 After cleaning the bumper, I found two scratches and a scuffed area, about 3 sq inches around the scratches. 😢 I used an ultra-fine finishing pad and DIY Detail Gold Standard Polish. After a very light polish, the scuffs are thankfully gone. Nothing I can do about the deeper scratches but they aren't so visible. I tested the area with water and the hydrophobics still seem to remain. I'd appreciate your thoughts and suggestions, if any.

Good afternoon Pan. I just wanted to let you know that I used your 8 year coating this past weekend on a 2021 Chevy Blazer in black and the results were OUTSTANDING !! I polished the paint with Rehab from P&S and it was incredible but if I had your spray polish I would have used that as well. That being said, the ease of use, simple to level and buff off and the slickless was out of control. I used the Rag Company's pearl weave towels for the leveling and buff off and it was so slippery that I had to crimp the towel tightly with my fingers so that I didn't drop the towel...LOL. I wanted to tell you that it is " THE BEST" ceramic coating I ever used and I could have shaved in the car door panel with the reflection I was getting. I also used your panel prep that that worked incredible and the smell was great. I will be applying this coating to my car in the spring. Thanks again for producing such great products and can't wait to get the rest of your line. All the best to you and your family and Happy Holidays !!

Awesome video Pan! I tried the final product in your lineup which was the ceramic sealant. I have to tell you my man…I loved all of them. I was super impressed with everything you offer. They will definitely be carried in my garage. Love the smells of course (I’m a huge tropical scent type guy too), but clinging of shampoo, self leveling of easy application of tire dressing and sealant was fantastic as well. Awesome job my friend. Can’t wait to see what else you have in stored for the future. If you end up doing an alkaline and acidic wash…I hope it has the clinging ability your shampoo does. Thanks again Pan! See you on the next one!

Hey Pan, I had a chance to use the 8 year coating today and I just wanted to say that it was very easy to work with, it provided an amazing slickness even just after an hour. Awesome! Thanks for sharing your experience and letting me know. I am happy you are enjoying it. And thanks for your support Daniel! What were all the prep steps that you did? What products did you use? Were you in the appropriate temperature range when applying?
@DanielC.959Ай бұрын
So I started with a complete one step polish bumper to bumper. I used 3-D one step with a light cut pad. Once that was done. I did use your panel prep to ensure the best adhesion possible. I applied your 8 year coating. I was able to do large sections at a time because it was about 65° here in Los Angeles today and I found it to be very easy to use very easy to remove and the results are outstanding. It is slick. It is shiny, and I can only imagine how hydrophobic it is. Thank you for the black Friday sale. It really push me to get it.

Can’t wait to try out the polish and 8 year! Quick question…I have a 15mm Max Shine DA I was going to use with DIY microfiber cutting pad, and their healing pad with their rotary polisher before applying your 8 year coating. Sound like a decent plan? Also, would you recommend using your panel prep before application of DIY Adhesion Promotor Polish?
@PanTheOrganizerАй бұрын
I would always recommend that you use the panel prep spray before applying a ceramic coating. I can’t comment on using the C6 APP as that is a product from another brand. As you know, it's impossible to test all the possible combinations out there. Just as Yvan can't test his APP with all coatings from all other brands to see if they'll be compatible. Yvan states his APP is compatible with any coating, but I will leave that to the viewers to test their own combos. That's common sense. One thing is for sure, my coating doesn't need the APP. My coating already has adhesion promoters built in for a stronger bond to the clear coat. My coatings are meant to be easy to apply, which also means you don't need anything special to apply them. Once the paint correction is done, use my Panel Prep Spray to remove polishing oils, and then apply the coating. Classic method of application.
@BryanRushingАй бұрын
@@PanTheOrganizerThanks Pan! I will use your paneling spray and not the app…keeps things a little simpler too. I already have DIY polishing pads so assume those would be fine to use with your polish?

I still have the Adam's Advanced Graphene on my truck in Nebraska. Also pretty harsh conditions, parked outside during the workweek, etc. I've noticed the coating is still fantastic on the upper surfaces (hood, roof, etc.); but I've also noticed it is less effective on the lower vertical surfaces. I'm hoping I get 5 years out of their "9-year" coating...but I'm not holding my breath. I may be back on Clean by Pan to place another order soon....
@jamesz9139Ай бұрын
I should add: regarding the Adam's, it seems to "clog" easily. I've been able to revive the coating by using a slightly acidic wash; but I shouldn't have to do that with every wash! I'm betting Pan's coating won't require the same constant upkeep. 😉

I plan on ceramic coating my new car with your product and this will be the 1st time I've applied a ceramic coating. My question is when wiping and leveling after the suggested time how much pressure do you apply? Is it a very light touch/pressure or do you apply some pressure?
@PanTheOrganizerАй бұрын
Once you apply the coating, you let it sit for 1-2 minutes, then start levelling with the first towel, and buffing with the second towel. Not much pressure is required, but some pressure for sure. You shouldn't feel like you're fighting it though hehe. It should be pretty easy and start to feel slick as you're wiping. If you feel that you are just pushing the coating around or it seems smeary, leave the coating to sit a bit longer (up to 3-4 min is still fine). You adjust to your conditions. That's why it's recommended to start with a smaller 2x2 section, see how it reacts in your environment, and then adjust your wiping. You will likely see rainbowing (color change) quickly, sometimes after just 30 seconds. But still let the coating sit for 1-2 min before wiping. It's one of the easiest coatings to apply, so as long as you prep the paint well (follow the instructions), there should be no issues.

It's near impossible to give pad recommendations without seeing the state of the surface (how deep are the scratches, how bad is the swirling, any oxidation?) as you have to do test spots to figure out the correct polish and pad combination. Yes you absolutely need to machine polish again as it’s the only way to ensure 100% removal of any previous protection. It’s crucial to have a virgin clear coat to apply the coating to. Don't have any exp with polishing but have seen some of your videos and was going to give it a go. Do you have any suggestions on a dual action polisher I should look into and pad? Was going to combo with your 3yrcoating , spray polish and prep spray.
@michaelb.5492Ай бұрын
Thanks Pan for the Clean Ceramic application and update. I'm here in Northern Calif. so I think you 3yr coating will last 3 or 4 years here with a little tlc and occasional topper. You mentioned Labocosmetica's. , Primus Alkaline Prewash & Purifica Acid Decon shampoos as the first or originator of two step decon soaps. I was unaware Labocosmetica had this offering so thank for mentioning. I was under the impression that Bob Hoyle came up with the high Acidic & Alkalinity wash process for Chem-X's Touchles/Decontamination foam soaps 5 + years ago. Do you know if others market a two step foam wash process? Just curious. Thank you Pan
@PanTheOrganizerАй бұрын
Yeah Labocosmetica actually own the trademark of the 3PH system (alkaline, acidic and neutral). Hence why no other brand uses the term "3PH". But many brands have high and low pH soaps now. CarPro Lift (alkaline) and CarPro Descale (acidic) Labocosmetica Primus 2.0 (alkaline) and Labocosmetica Purifica (acidic) Chem-X Stars (alkaline) and Chem-X Stripes (acidic) Detail Co High pH soap and Detail Co Low pH soap You can get them all here: tinyurl.com/3au7ffk2

Pan, I have to say the product is amazing. I bought the 8 year ceramic coating and I did it myself for the first time and I believe the outcome was great. I did it on two vehicles, with having a little left I did a second coat on the hood, roof and trunk on one of the vehicles. Is it a good sign that I used the whole bottle? How can I maintain the product for lasting? You rock man!
@PanTheOrganizerАй бұрын
Yeah one bottle typically does two average size cars so that seems just about right. For maintenance, just regular washing and decon when needed. No toppers are required with my coating. But everyone likes to boost gloss and slickness every now and then, myself included, so you could use the CLEAN by Pan Ceramic Spray Sealant as a drying aid. Or any ceramic or graphene detail spray of your choice. :)

Thanks! I can't wait for people in Europe to try my products too. Hopefully they will arrive in Europe in the next two months if all goes as planned. For the temperatures, it's never recommended to use products below 10C. Ideally as close to 20C as possible to get a good user experience. That's for any product really.

Can you apply Adam’s advance ceramic over a original coat after 1 year or am I wasting the product?
@PanTheOrganizerАй бұрын
Coatings need to bond to a virgin clear coat, free of any previous protection. So applying a 2nd layer after one year is hard to predict how much of that new layer would actually bond. Perhaps ask Adam's directly and see what they reply.

I decided to apply your 3 year ceramic coating for the first experience for my car, which was completely repainted a month ago. I followed the instructions, in some places I even gave 4 or more minutes to see what would happen and I had absolutely no problems. Leveling was done with a DIY green leveling towel and after it it was not even necessary to wipe with a dry towel because the surface remained as clean and shiny as possible without traces, I also applied a second layer to the windshield one hour after the first. It was a great experience. I am waiting for my wheels from repainting to coat them as well, the car has a good week for complete hardening. Can't wait to get the car dirty in some rain and wash it 😄

Hello, great video as always, I'm getting a new car in 2 months time, do I need to use an Iron remover, or would just claying would do? seen so many videos and am a bit confused
@PanTheOrganizerАй бұрын
A new car is never new until it's properly detailed. - at the factory, the paint defects are often corrected quickly by rotary polishing which can leave marks and holograms, so polishing corrects those, before you lock that in long term with a ceramic coating for example. - vehicles are then transported by truck, train and boat so they are exposed to the elements, industrial fallout, brake dust, rail dust, etc - vehicles are often left at boat docks (when transported by boat) or in exterior parking lots for weeks or months, again being exposed to the elements - at the dealership, the vehicles are almost always poorly prepped using the same dirty water that was used for all the cars on a given day, and poor washing and drying methods leading to swirls and scratches - at the dealership, a layer of cheap wax or paint sealant is usually applied to attempt to make the paint glossy prior to delivery. It's crucial to remove any previous protection before you apply a ceramic coating, as coatings need to bond directly to a virgin clear coat. If you only plan on applying a regular carnauba wax or paint sealant though, you could decide to skip machine polishing, as those protectants can be applied over existing protection and it's not as crucial to prep the paint as well. I explain all of this in this popular video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/h5jSqqV5Ypp2g8U So you can better visualize the new car prep process, here are the steps I perform on a brand new car for my customers: Audi RS6 Avant Performance: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gma2gmOQfq92oJIsi=mcQiMs9HBLlaqjGK Mercedes AMG GT 63 Coupe: kzbin.info/www/bejne/anzdn6WdaL9mZ9E Mercedes S 580: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jKLCpZmZrNesjKssi=whord2_UEFSg28UW Tesla Model 3: kzbin.info/www/bejne/q4eagoqtrtqDgpY Aston Martin Vantage: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hXzKkmavj7uHp9E Volvo XC60: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qqenc3Wbo82MfKM Porsche 911 Carrera: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aJTOmpysl6ukqZY Audi Q7: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qmirdHWJi9OcsK8

Pan can you explain a bit about dual surfactants? Whats going on with that and is there anything you recommend doing when using your shampoo?
@PanTheOrganizerАй бұрын
Dual surfactants meaning two different types of surfactants used in the formulation of the soap. Each surfactant capable of tackling different tasks (dirt). So you get that dual stage soap layer when snow foaming. When you start rinsing, the first layer rinses off, and you notice a secondary layer behind it, it's pretty cool. Rinses off freely and easily, leaving no soapy residue behind. Just follow the directions for the shampoo, it's pretty straight forward. In the foam cannon, I would use 700 ml of water and 1 or 2 oz of soap (depending on what level of foam you want). And in a traditional 5 gal bucket, you would add 4 gal of water and 2 oz of soap (0.5 oz for every gallon of water). Super simple.

I’m about a month in now with your 3 yr as well and I’m wondering when/if a clay towel with an iron remover can be used?
@PanTheOrganizerАй бұрын
If you use a quality new style perforated synthetic decontamination towel, yes you can as long as you use good lubrication. Those newer style decon towels aren't abrasive and won't marr the paint. I have my own decon towel coming soon by the way. Hopefully by the end of this month. In the meantime, this is a good decon towel to get: tinyurl.com/mrpzjd4w Also, you only clay if the vehicle needs it. Meaning if you feel grit after your normal wash, and chemical decon steps (iron remover). Also, not all iron removers can be used as clay lubricants. You have to use those without solvents in them. A good iron remover to use as a clay lubricant is this one: tinyurl.com/ycb3tweb

I know you have a 3 year and 8 year coating which judging by reviews seem amazing by the way! And you can apply an any and all external surfaces but will it last just as long on glass and plastics and chrome as it will the paint cause all these dedicated glass coatings don't seem to last 6 months at best and even then after a few months they start to diminish?
@PanTheOrganizerАй бұрын
The durability is maximum on clear coat as that what it was designed for mainly. On other surfaces, the durability won’t be as long but it’s impossible to know exactly how long as there are too many variables to account for.

Does the spray sealant perform the same as coating just with less durability?
@PanTheOrganizerАй бұрын
No spray product outperforms a true coating from a glass bottle. You either have the quickness of application and lower price point of a spray, or the longer durability and better hydrophobics/gloss/slickness/chemical resistance of a true coating, but those also cost more and take more time to apply. There are always tradeoffs. But the Ceramic Spray Sealant is still pretty insane for a spray on product. Great gloss and slickness, amazing resistance to chemicals (see this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gH21pKmtpLWFd9Usi=QrK1dTi9HvHLkfFG As you'll see in that video, it has very good hydrophobics too.

Hey Pan! A couple questions and one product suggestion. I'm about to embark on doing a paint correction on my wife's car and I will be trying your spray polish for the first time. 1. Have you used your rinse-less in a pad washer? 2. If using your polish in conjunction with a pad washer (whether using your rinse-less or someone else's), do you do one spray of polish or two? Product suggestion: I know this is more of a geographically limited product... but I would love to see either a dedicated road salt pretreatment product, or a prewash soap that also targets road salts and makes them easier to remove prior to touching the car.

1. Yes, it works great. Cleans pads super well. 2. Every time you wash your pad in the pad washer, you re-primer the pad with 2 sprays.

Pan i put on your 3 year coating over the weekend And got a high spot on the roof tryed to reapply with no avail Had to do a light polish to remove it My question for you is do i need to reapply more coating on that spot or will it be ok
@PanTheOrganizerАй бұрын
When you machine polish a section, it removes the coating. You redo the panel prep spray, then reapply the coating to the section. What conditions were you working in? It’s very important to inspect your work as you go to avoid high spots, regardless of what coating it is. If you catch a high spot early enough, you just reapply a bit more coating over the high spot and immediately wipe off (no wait time). That usually does the trick. It’s a super forgiving coating so it’s surprising you had that issue. Overall, was the rest simple? Wipe off is supposed to be easy.
