@@dwightlewis4316 you misunderstand, I'm disagreeing with you. If someone describes a dish to you and doesn't mention nuts, you would have no reason to ask if it contains them. Even aside from the allergy debate, Barry was told to describe the dish and left out a very prominent and visible component, thus he shouldn't have received the badge.

It's really interesting to watch the chefs flex their 'cooking' muscles, especially whenever it shows how levels above the normals they are. I think it would be cool to see the difference, not only between a normal and a chef, but also the difference between a chef and a michelin stared chef. Give a normal, chef and michelin chef the exact same three different ingredients, and see the difference in creativity and technique at the various levels.

The whole Sorted vibe is re a genuine connection between the guys & their community. But we’re all more like casual acquaintances in the same office or community - we might recognise their faces and we might all share the same values & goals, but don’t necessarily know each other personally. And that’s ok. Im guessing the Sorted team all knows any questions/comments, like Jeska’s, aren’t intruding at all, but are out of concern and because we all care and miss him. Xx

That's not quite true. Not to brag but I did comment on several videos that I think that Barry grew a lot recently and showed on multiple occasions that he has some talent besides being very creative. I think a lot of people tend to underestimate him because of the hob thing. Very glad it currently gets rewarded.

The normals should try to identify the ‘hidden’ ingredient in a range of dishes
@Souchirouu3 жыл бұрын
I think this is actually something that really could take the normals to above normal (super normal?) . They don't taste what they cook nearly enough and when they do they get it right maybe 50% of the time if they are lucky. Tasting as you cook is such an important skill and one that is often ignored by (home) cooks. Ben could also help them with this and just mention "have you tasted it?" more often. It's something that needs to become part of the routine of cooking.
