I could not imagine the stress of that closet!! I have a tiny closet (about 2 feet of space) and no dresser. I have been a capsule wardrobe wearer since 2005 and am very clear on my style preferences. My wardrobe contains 40 items: 19 professional 11 casual 6 workout 4 loungewear

Just wanted to add a quick question to make decluttering a little easier, especially for multiple items of the same type e.g jeans. The question is “what’s my favourite ?”. If I have 5 pairs of jeans, I know which pair is comfortable and flattering or which ones ride up or sag etc. By focusing on my favourites it makes decision making faster and easier and less about “giving an item up” and more about about enjoying my clothing. This question works well for other items too e.g. what’s my favourite jewellery etc. Hope this helps.

Just take a few minutes a day to do some Decluttering! That always helps me when I feel super overwhelmed (like when I decluttered my sons room!) I’m glad you found this useful! Let me know how it goes!
